Yes a lot of features of android over the years were removed to adjust as per the respective companies. you need some old device to try out the android builds often to see what new they offered.

Could playing VR games boost lucid dreaming?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
I always try to stay away from hypnosis. I suggested my mind to do exactly opposite to what hypnosis says. this way I avoided a lot of people from doing things to me. -
I think at it's current state metaverses based on blockchains are nothing but the ghetto of microtransaction. there isn't any free place to explore. everything is behind paywall type. facebook wont be different either.

I used to when I was using mostly desktop. Now a days I don't considering I moved to laptop for gaming.

Yes and thats one of the reasons windows 11 would be something meant for the new hardware. I remember the time when windows 7 had to go through that phase too.
-
I think I saw it but never thought about something like that from microsoft. a lot of chinese experiments have similar designs but coming from microsoft looks good.

Yes but these days the outlook aka hotmail is now lot cleaner and also easy to use as well. I prefer to try to use it most of the time.

It's like anything good you build and make it decentralized these people come out and try to turn into for profit, gate keeping for profit thing. -
Will some people be “left behind” if VR becomes big?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
VR and AR is expensive because it's early in the process. Once it gets mass manufacturing and the mass usage then the price would go down eventually. -
Yes and these days outlook which is now part of hotmail and other MS based mails are having ad free experience too. but yeah some of the time they do drop in ads which can be an issue.
-
And if you notice you can fold it and turn it back flat too. which is kind of a good feature I suppose for packing purpose.

Yes the new chip based encryption support that microsoft has been working on for the enterprise, that seems to have phased out the old hardware.

Does anyone else have this amount of troubling platforming in older games?
skyfire replied to Anakulos's topic in Video Games
I am not sure in that case you would love games like "little nightmares" as it is mix of 3D with scrolling right side platform aspect. -
VR may help some people with mobility challenges
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
Sad to know about mobility issue. I hope the VR in near future allows this. I think instead of the VR being some sort of headset. I suppose it'd be similar like the lens or current small VR headset that occulus has released. I am just not sure if the avatar type of system would be released in my lifetime as I am in 30s and I suppose that using avatar system would take longer time. -
Our brains work differently in VR than real environments
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
The problem with VR as of now it's just low poly square shaped everything being displayed. It is yet to get the realistic feel like real life. The moment it does people will go through existential crisis. -
VR may help some people with mobility challenges
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
VR and AR is going to be like blessing for those people. Imagine you are on wheelchair and want to travel the world. Just plug it in and subscribe to some avatar who travels and get virtual feed and feel. But I think that tech would take time. I am sure even old people will live new life if this type of stuff gets created. -
Will some people be “left behind” if VR becomes big?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
People will always be behind and we can't close the gap all the time. There are people who are living life like people do in 90s. Some people still have those black and white non touch display phones. Some cant afford consoles, mobiles, laptops, or even desktop. Online payments, crypto, VR is not in reach of many people and some will choose not to touch either. It's like people choosing which matrix to live into and die. -
Could playing VR games boost lucid dreaming?
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
Lucid dreams sometimes feels like creating delusion in our own mind. Kind of like masturbation. Imagine some porn actress is there with you flying in astral plan having secks with you. No thanks. That's a lot of delusion and it's like making you dumb each time you try it. As much as I like spirituality, lucid dreaming is mental masturbation. I doubt game could give that feeling in VR. I strongly doubt it. -
14,000 Gaming Companies Have Gone Bankrupt Thanks To China
skyfire replied to Techno's topic in Gaming News
Its like what they did to manufacturing sector of many 1st world nations. Offer low price, make their citizens addict to the products, force them to outsource. China did what brits did like ages back. -
It looks like the gamifying with the brain. I wonder if things taken to this much extent it could lead to the not so stable head. But that's just my speculation.

I can't wait to see another new from them. So far I feel there are not a lot of good games out in his niche like games. -
Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda talks about NFTs
skyfire replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming News
While playing axie, karastar I realize the NFT is never yours, you just rent it to play the game and you stop playing you lose it mentally and require game to survive forever to own the NFT. Which is not worth it be it on the blockchain or the off the blockchain. -
Their ecosystem makes more interesting with the AR and VR and also they have long term plans with the same. So they may go with that part.

Especially in Thai. They are often near the bars and the beach hotels corners. A lot of places have them but malls don't seem to have them much.
