    Mine was the same with fresh windows installition. Figured the driver was corruped, fixed it and no over heating anymore

    No, the game began with you landing on the beach and fighting crabs. Eventually you'd reach zombies. There was a trick to get yourself infected in order to easily defeat laser beam shootings titans.
