Heatman replied to Shortie's topic in Gaming Forum

The two video games that I'm currently playing are Omega Strikers and Age of Wonders 4. I can also always add Top Eleven Football Manager because it's one game that I have to play everyday.

This is my biggest problem with such kind of art in games. It hurt my eyes when I'm trying to play games designed this way with such art quality. Also, being that I'm not that much into playing retro games, it's a challenge for me.

Do you think gaming sharpens memory skills?
Heatman replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Gaming Forum
Personally, I would say that playing video games works more in improving your reaction and response both in the games and also in real life. I can't think of how well it's working on improving your memory per say. -
I would have said it's going to be Fortnite that's your favorite video because if I should go by the game which I know you play most recent, from your posts, it's definitely Fortnite. Maybe I'm wrong and Halo happens to be it in secret 😉.

Honestly, I don't really see it that way. Although I can admit the game's heavy inspirations from Pokémon, Palworld is still a game of its own. The character designs might look similar, but they are different in my opinion.

One of biggest impact of the existence of social media platforms on gaming is on publicity and awareness of both the games and the gamers as well. With the use of social media platforms, gamers can now stream their games, become popular like celebrities and make millions of dollars in the process.

When you're looking at temporarily working, yes, it's possible that video games can provide a healthy distraction during difficult times of traumatic experience. This can last for as long as you keep playing without being stopped. But the question is how long will you keep playing to feel better? If the real cause of your traumatic experience isn't addressed, the problem will never go away.

Definitely, I believe that the gaming industry have made so much impact in our world today through their games. Games have been know to key in as a means of entertainment and what people are engaged in tend to change their perception. Games have been known to serve as a therapy. So, it plays a sting of roles in the health sector.

In all honesty, my gaming preference have evolved over the past 30 years. It's no longer the games I used to love playing when I was younger that I enjoy playing now but one game have stand the test of time for me. It's Red Dead Redemption 2.

Exactly! It's what's horror is all about for me. If it doesn't give me a serious cold chills down my spine, it won't make any sense to me. This is even why I prefer playing horror games and watching horror movies/TV shows at night. The night setting makes it easier to feel all the effects used in the game or movie more.

I had fun playing the game too. I can't seem to understand why or what some people are complaining about the game Palworld. Which flaws can you think the game came with? Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged was the last game I played today.

People trying to get like new prices for cart/disc only games
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Exactly! Funny enough, there are so many people who are paying that high fee for such games because if they don't, those sellers won't have the courage to set the prices so. -

2020 was an underrated year for action games imo
Heatman replied to NightmareFarm's topic in Gaming Forum
I have always loved playing fighting games right from my childhood. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate was peaked and I had so much fun playing it in 2020. I'm getting along with Tekken 8 so far. -

Heatman replied to NightmareFarm's topic in Gaming Forum
Well, it's a shame that you didn't play The Last Of Us Part II. The game had everything which made it won so much in 2020. For me, Hades was my best action game of 2020 with Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate my favourite fighting game. -
People trying to get like new prices for cart/disc only games
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Honestly, it doesn't matter whether you should give your opinion on the pricing or not, it's never going to change the mind of the store owner and what he or she wants to sell his item. I would say that there's possibility for part of this issue to fall on the effect of what scalpers do in the gaming industry. -
Do you create yourself or someone else with your custom characters?
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Well, I won't say that it's bad bad but it's just like something which I have been so used to. It's at the point where I need something different in order to still have it pull in my flair in continuing playing the game. -
What game did you spend most of your time on in 2023?
Heatman replied to svjiminfxv's topic in Gaming Forum
It's two of my old games in Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt that I've played this same way you do with playing Skyrim. I can never get fed up with playing those two games. -
Do you trust social media for video game rumours?
Heatman replied to Shortie's topic in Gaming Forum
Yeah, that's very correct about how reliable most of the rumors and update Kotaku brings to the gaming fans. I've following Kotaku for years in which I have been impressed so far. It's never a 100% guarantee the update will be true. Sometimes, it's a hit or miss.- 26 replies

Do you agree with Christopher Judge about new COD campaign being too short?
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Microsoft really need to do something drastic with the next game they are going to produce on the COD franchise. They need to rip apart the production team and have most of them replaced with those who know what to do, otherwise the COD franchise will be killed off sooner than we know it. -
Does anyone even bother to watch streams on Steam?
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
This was the exact same reason why I didn't feel compelled to use the service because I've had so many better option which gave me more what I even asked for. So, it's just something which never held any ground for me.
