Most of these companies do it all the time. The smart one's knows how to change up just about what's going put them in a legal issue. Disney have been very good at for years now, so it's not a surprise at all.

PGA Tour 2K23 Launches This October, Tiger Woods Cover Athlete
Heatman replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
In all honesty, I can't understand or be able to justify what both companies have been doing with most of the game's franchise they are working on. When you think that they are getting better, they will give you the worst shocker you never saw coming. -
The three of them definitely makes the list for me. There's a little bit of more action in the Man of Medan but it doesn't take it out of survival horror context to me. There's no arguments whatsoever on The Quarry and Until Dawn making that list.

Do you look up in advance if characters will die?
Heatman replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It's part of the reason why most gamers are not good with getting spoilers. It roots out the suspense in playing the game and even takes away the real fun. Although, some gamers are good with it. -
Content-related deal-breakers in deciding to play a game?
Heatman replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It's just like how the technique of jump scare affects me in some games especially the horror one's. At one point when I wasn't used to it, in games like Outlast, Silent Hill and Until Dawn, it was technically difficult to play the game at first. -
I get that feeling very well and it's why you kind of played more games in the genre that you would be able to pick out from the many exactly what works for you. Without trail, you wouldn't really be able to know and not even after reading reviews about the game.

What's the absolute worst game you've ever played?
Heatman replied to harleyqbx's topic in Gaming Forum
The only logical conclusion here would be that you haven't played enough video games 😂. There are tons of worst games out there. EA with their FIFA games is a typical example. -
I have had similar experience with such kind of people who rates anime lovers low and to be very honest with you, I don't give a damn about what they say because it's completely useless. I'm even in one anime forum and I'm enjoying my time there.

Phil Spencer ‘feels good’ about Xbox’s proposed Activision acquisition approval
Heatman replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
I also think that giving a little advantage to Xbox console with exclusive DLC's might be a good icing on the cake. Sony wouldn't have much to nag about that one at least since they have the base game to play. -
My favourite game genre would be - Soul's Game in Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Least Favorite - Shooting genre in Battlefield specifically Battlefield 2042.

The Rick and Morty movie was quite interesting, so the game is going to be super. I can't wait to see what they would cook up in the game.

The scariest enemies, npcs and characters in video games
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
My pick would be the following ; 1. Twins Victim in Silent Hill 4 2. The Xenomorph in Alien Isolation 3. Dividers in Dead Space 4. Valtiel in Silent Hill 3 -
There's something similar in Shadow of the Colossus. With seeing a young man bringing a dead girl to a strange empty land which the obvious story behind that single act was that the land is capable of bringing the death back to life.

I don't how anyone else who's played Animal Crossing would feel about the NPC Nook in the game. Personally, I see Nook to be perfectly nice and friendly. Also, Navirou in Monster Hunter Stories 2 : Wings Of Ruin is another good example.

Games that make really intentional use of music
Heatman replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
You can't mention video games that had decent link up with impressive soundtracks without mentioning the Halo Series. The way the game's music flows up in the storyline and development of the game is a grand masterpiece. -
Do you look up in advance if characters will die?
Heatman replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I don't see the need in doing anything like that seriously. Why do that? When you know very well that it might ruin the interest in playing the game? I try as much as possible to avoid looking for it myself. -
If you game at night, do you use blue light filters?
Heatman replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
When it comes to how my gaming goes at night, I don't use any filters. I have never seen its impacts ever since I have used it in the past, so it's completely dumped. -
What games ended up being weirder than you expected?
Heatman replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The first game that comes to mind when it comes to weirdness in how it progressed would be Jett: The Far Shore. It's a beautiful open world game that tells its story in an abstract manner. It tells the game's story in a made up language which contains a bit of darkness. -
I don't know much about games that doesn't have a lot prejudice but I have played one's that had it spilling over. Take for instance in Resident Evil 5 where a muscular white man shot to hell diseased monster Africans. What makes it worst was that he actually started shooting at them even before he found out they are monsters.

Personally, I don't really fancy playing such games that are designed with no way to adjust the difficulty setting. It's a silly and clumsy way to develop a game. It's share laziness in my opinion because that shouldn't fly at all in games.
-
Zooming feature in Red Dead Redemption 2 is quite impressive and also, I find how it's designed in Ghost of Tsushima very well tailored too. Some shooting games do well with it. For instance in Frontline Commando, I love the zooming feature.

Red Dead Redemption 2 should add an invader option on single player
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
The online mode of the game is quite dead even though I know that some people still play it once in a while. I believe that adding an invader option on single player mode of RDR2 would be an excellent update but I'm not if Rockstar would consider it. -
Phil Spencer ‘feels good’ about Xbox’s proposed Activision acquisition approval
Heatman replied to DC's topic in Gaming News
Yeah, I think so too that they won't be that stupid and all because of what? Microsoft is way bigger than Sony by a very long margin. Yeah, they might try to shook up Sony by this but they wouldn't make a move that's going to cost them money.
