I believe it's better a video game should come with both single player and Multi player mode in order to offer flexibility to the players. -
It may be Need for Speed No Limit. That's the only NFS I can remember with such race track setting. I may be right or wrong, it depends.

I have never played any NBA games and it's all down to my not being a fan of the sports in real life. I casually watch it once in a while. -
Of course, I do understand exactly what you mean because it's absolutely how I enjoy to play as it's way more better with the FOV when it covers all angles.

The best defense is a proper calculated attack because it gives the swift line on taking out your opponent in an unexpected way. -
There is definitely less similarly between Playstation 1 classic and Playstation 2 because with what games there are on the latter, it's clearly obvious they are not in the same range.

Well, I can actually help you out with remembering it if you can tell what the race 🏎 tracks looked like ; something like the settings of the race tracks if you can remember it.
