£72.99 for FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition on the PS5. But I think I played something a bit less than that because I managed to get some PlayStation Network giftcards for cheap from those online stores that always have discounts.

I'd be curious to see some official stats to be honest because I'm honestly not sure. I'm only considering actual current-gen games as well (released for the PS5/Series X) so it will probably be FIFA 22.

Not beneficial for me but I loved these free online weekends when I used to play on the Xbox 360 a long time ago. As a kid, didn't have Xbox Live Gold so free weekends were great. These online updates are always bad and come at the worst times!

The Switch might be easier to sell than a laptop, to be fair. Especially during this Christmas period. I'm not sure they can really tell you what to do with it other than to just keep it really. I guess it is up to the person to do what they want.

I think there's only a few cases where it becomes irritating really. If you have the console in your bedroom and your partner is sleeping, that beep will be annoying and will sound like an airplane engine when the room is extremely quite lol 😂

Pretty good that she got to keep them. There was a recent post on Reddit where someone received 10 laptops as well and got to keep them (from Amazon). If I was her, I would be absolutely selling them as soon as possible. But she probably has family members that she can gift them to.

I've never had a problem with it, to be honest. I can understand why some people have a problem with it since if you're in a room where someone is sleeping, it would annoy them. They really should give you the option of turning it off really.

As the others have mentioned, you don't have to play them but it does make sense to try them out. You don't necessarily have to play them in order either although it would be better to do it that way. A lot of the older GTAs had some fun things missing from the modern titles as well.

That's really cool actually and a very good competition to encourage kids to get into something that they can create a career out of. It will be interesting to see what type of games the kids create as well and what type of problems in the community they focus on.

Would be interesting to know what kind of things would have happened if this became a reality. Would GTA be the same game that it is now? Would the franchise have failed? I guess we will never know. I also wonder if thats why Rockstar has always worked with Sony a bit more for certain GTA promotions and events.

Yeah, PES has gone down that route. Unfortunately, it's now also one of the worst examples of a free-to-play game so they have definitely messed it up. The game is full of bugs, looks awful and is missing some basic features. I can't see that surviving for too long

I think the majority of games won't go free to play but the ones that release every year will go down that route. For example, sports games could easily go down the free-to-play route and rely on microtransactions to make money.

The games I play are pretty simple so it's not really something I've come across before. However, I think it would be quite good for games to offer something like this to gamers because it can be annoying after a while if you keep failing. One thing that is good about the PS5 is that they offer guides for certain achievements. Doesn't help you much with the actual story or hard parts of the game but can be good to solve those annoying achievements that you find difficult to unlock.

No. Considering what games I play at the moment, they would be quite hard to replicate them in real life (except for FIFA obviously). Halo, Forza, F1 etc. Would love to emulate it in real life because driving powerful and expensive cars sounds fun but it's a bit difficult 😞

A bit of a mixed reaction to this on social media it seems. Some people find it funny and cool that a company is making fun of a situation where they lost a lot of money. Others are finding it a bit weird since a lot of gamers were unfairly affected by this. For me, I don't mind it. Well, except the absurd price for a poster!

Whilst it's predictable for us and not something we would ever use, this is an important accessibility feature for some. There are some gamers out there that will have trouble steering using a controller due to certain impairments. This feature makes the game enjoyable for them.

Played some FIFA 22 again today. Focusing mainly on the Division Rivals game mode which I'm having a lot of fun in, having now almost reached Division 1. Managed to do the Pulisic SBC earlier today as well since I'm a Chelsea fan.

I doubt it but I would love for some of the more popular games to be made available through Spartacus. GTA IV is the main one of me really. It is available on Xbox but I really do want to play it on the PlayStation instead which is why I haven't bought it again. They could make a lot of money as well if they can find a proper solution

I follow football and F1 (only recently though) so it's a lot easier to just watch. I used to play football quite a bit but haven't really done it recently. And obviously with F1, there is no way to actually take part in it so watching it is the only option.

My PS4 controllers lasted quite a while actually, should last for around 4-5 hours of gaming which is quite good. The PS5 controllers are really good in terms of the battery life as well which is quite surprising because of all the haptics. I thought it would have a worse battery life.

Forza has some great accessibility features to help out with the difficulty of the game actually which I love. For example, I believe they have a setting where you don't have to steer, it's just a case of accelerating and braking at the right times. It is quite nice that they thought of including features like that.

I really want to ignore these types of articles but knowing that some of the masterminds behind the previous GTA titles have left Rockstar, it does concern me a tiny bit. I still trust them to deliver a masterpiece but there is a part of me that is nervous. Hopefully, all those concerns will vanish the moment we see the first trailer (one day)!

The only one I'm aware of on console is F1. I've tried 2019 and 2020, thanks to the Game Pass, and I have to say it's quite nice. There is a bit of a learning curve if you are completely new to F1 (like I was) but it does teach you quite a bit about the sport.

Yeah, got the PS5 at launch from Amazon as my main console. When I found out flight simulator was coming out for the Series X, I jut had to get one so I did. I got it through the All Access thing they have where you pay it off monthly though. That seems to be the only way to get a hold of one at the moment.

None but that's because I don't actually have any dedicated gaming headsets. Since I play on the PS5 and Series X, I just use some normal earphones to play with. The sound from them is pretty good and the microphone is good enough when needed. I've gone through a few of them but thats because they've stopped working (one of the earphones stops working etc.)
