I had no idea that Road Rage existed. I only knew about the Simpsons Hit & Run and even that, I never got an opportunity to play it properly which was a shame. My only experience of it was at a friends house. The idea of a Simpsons GTA is just amazing really. Was there a huge difference between the two games?

I haven't worked at fast food and it's honestly something that I am pretty happy about. Not because I don't like the job itself but because I can't imagine it being a fun and easy job to do. The stress with having to deal with a range of customers who may get angry for no reason just isn't for me.

For a long time, I stuck with free forum software, with MyBB being my favourite. It just had a great selection of themes and plugins, both free and premium. But now I'm with XenForo and it really is amazing. Looks great, feels great, and is very easy to use, both as a member and an admin.

Quest markers on the screen: helpful or annoying?
Darth replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It definitely can be annoying especially if they are visible when you are exploring the world itself. All the quest markers just on your screen can be extremely annoying. The games that offer to hide the markers or the ones that only have the markers on the map are the best. -
I would love to see an official Pro controller for the PS5 as well but I guess they want to focus on other things. But as you said Kane, like the Xbox ones, it will probably be expensive so I'm not sure I would even bother getting one if they did release one.

I didn't even realise that it had WRC 8 on the Nintendo Switch. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy it. I've been contemplating getting one because it would be fun to have a handheld console but I've been reluctant to buy it because of the price.

I guess it's a problem for some games because they don't want to give you a colour picker since some people would end up choosing weird colours that look out of place. And then they obviously can't offer every single realistic option so it becomes a bit of an issue. It would be cool to see more games offering realistic skin tones.

Some more FIFA 22 for me today on the PlayStation 5. I finally finished the Tammy Abraham FUT Birthday objective so I know have him for my Chelsea past and present team. Looking forward to seeing the FUT Birthday token rewards come out at some point.

Yeah, I'll be keeping my eyes out on the PS VR 2. It looks pretty good and will work quite well with my PlayStation 5. But I definitely won't be purchasing it until the price drops because I can imagine the price being absurd at launch.

I mean, this was a pretty small bundle that was mainly just a t-shirt so this wasn't one of the big Rockstar competitions. Most of the time, it takes age to receive the prize too so if you miss the email (like I probably did), you will forget whatever contests you entered by the time you receive the prize.

Anyone planning on getting the E&E edition of GTA V now that it has been listed on the console marketplaces? I ended up buying the PS5 version since it was extremely cheap at just £8.95

It's hard for me to feel a certain way about VR because I haven't been able to try it out properly. My only experience was one of those cheap headset things where you put your phone into it and it just wasn't a good experience. I would love to try out a proper VR headset though.

It's funny because I have only ever won one gaming contest and I have no idea what I did to get it. Rockstar sent me a small bundle with some stickers, a picture, and a t-shirt that says Los Santos. It was a GTA V thing but I have no idea if I won it by doing something in-game or entering a contest on the Rockstar website.

I completed the 2004 level of Unpacking earlier today to get 3 achievements. Not a game I particularly care about but Microsoft Rewards currently has a few good offers for when you earn achievements and this is one of the easiest games to get achievements from.

Unfortunately, I never got to experience it but I have definitely heard a lot of good things about it. Would be amazing to have a proper zombies mode in RDR2 especially as some of the areas are extremely spooky and scary in the dark.

It's an added bonus for Xbox Live Gold members that they don't really have to offer. And people have to buy at least Live Gold as a minimum to be able to play online so I don't think they care too much about it. Most companies will have profit as their number one profit anyway.

It's not something that has ever happened to me which is probably a good thing. Falling asleep with the light on just wouldn't work for me anyway because I would end up waking up halfway through since the light would be too bright for my eyes.

games with so much action happening at the same time, yay or nay?
Darth replied to Patrik's topic in Gaming Forum
I think it depends a lot on how the developers do it really. It can be frustrating sometimes when they try to push too many things on to you in a particular part of the game but if it's done well, it can work out well. The last thing you want is for all the explosions and events to distract the player really. -
It's been a while since I last played Red Dead Redemption 2 at all. I tried to get into it recently but just couldn't be bothered. It's a shame that Rockstar hasn't put much focus into the online mode like they do with GTA Online because they have some nice things like this but the content is still lacking.
-
Not necessarily. The games that both platforms offer isn't really connected to the free games offer. The reason Games with Gold is quite trash is probably because Microsoft wants to focus more on the GamePass and don't want to give away too many games.

It's crazy to think how far we have come in terms of the consoles, the games, and the gaming companies themselves. 22 years is an amazing achievement and I can't wait to enjoy the PlayStation brand for a long time!

It was during the PlayStation 4/Xbox One generation. My friends and I played on the Xbox 360 but I think the PS4 was the best console so it was an easy decision for us to move from Microsoft to Sony. Enjoyed the console a lot and now I'm a PlayStation gamer so I stuck with the PS5 as well. I do have a Series X though but that's a secondary console rather than my main.

Loving the look of Forbidden West from the gameplay videos I have seen so I finally started playing Horizon Zero Dawn recently. I waiting for the PS5 60FPS update because when I tried it earlier, it just felt wrong on the PS5. I'm really liking it so far and I'm playing it on the normal difficulty so that it's enjoyable and not too hard.
-
I would never have thought of that but I love it. I think it would be cool to have it as a sort of progressive theme as well where you start off as the normal Gus, with his suit and then as you get more kills and the game progresses, your skin slowly transforms into the blown up style.

I think the fact he hasn't heard about it is probably a good indication of how big GTA really is. Most non-gamers are aware of GTA as a title because of how popular it is and how great the game is. But yeah, still probably a good idea to only compare games when you know them both 😆
