Stationery mice are for business owners to bolt to the desks and service counters because they don't trust thier staff. That is thier purpose.

Eh, there seems to be a problem here...
-
Why exactly are asking this question here? This forum has no direct association with the game nor it's dev's and is not a dedicated Gacha Club community, so why ask us instead of searching either for the problem or a forum/community more indigenously associated with the game? What I'm about to do is likly the best any of us can do; A link to the Gacha Club Reddit A WordApps Gacha Club Forum The Gacha Club Game FAQ's page Goggle search results for this very question I hope that helps. I'll keep this thread open at least for now, but I will insist that discussion be only on this problem and not the game itself.

What is the longest story line game you have ever played?
Shagger replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
You're right, Kingdoms of Amalur is not a single player MMO (Mass Multiplayer Online). Such a thing can't even exist as the two terms completely contradict each other. It's like saying this room is cold hot. I was simply falling into the idea that describing the game as a single player MMO as an easy and helpful way to describe how this fantasy RPG is structured and nothing more. -
I loved the first episode. The presentation and the performances were spot on. I actually like some of the changes, like how in this version Robert sold a car battery to Marlene that Joel intended to use to find Tommy and that Marlene needed to smuggle Ellie out of the city. That is better than what happened in the game. I actually mentioned this in my The Last of Us Review/Synopsis/Analysis that I didn't feel the smuggling of the guns didn't really make sense and was poorly explained. The motivations in the TV fit much better into the overall plot. I do agree. It does seem like, at this point, the violence is a little toned down, but it's like we are at a point in the story that violence was going to take centre stage, so it is possible that will come, we still have 8 episodes to go. Not that it bothers me, the show doesn't need to (and likely can't) go as far as the game. I am a little concerned about the next episode as were entering a part of the story (That being moving through the ruined city between the quarantine zone and the capital building.) that I think is much harder part of the game to translate into a TV show, so it will be interesting to see how well they handle this.

Now that I think about it, describing it as a single player MMO does kind of work. The large map is divided into zones with own thier set level for the enemies and rewards that don't change whatever level the player is, but dungeons level with player. It's well balanced in that you do find worth in "completing" an area, but you're forced to grind either. You can focus on quests and side quests and be whare you need to be. I did review the remaster Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning on PC a while back, so feel free to check that out to learn a little more about the game, but as I stage in the review it launched in a terrible state on PC and even when I tried it again on console (PS4) it still had issues. I'd like to think enough time has passed for the issues to be resolved by now, so hopefully all is well. -

Unmodified, the longest game I've played would probably be Kingdoms of Amalur. Completing the main storyline and DLC expansions can easily take 200 hours. It's a great game, but by god have you got to be committed. -
Wait, so you are claiming that they are "hiding something" not only without proof, but without even so much a theory of what that could be? Given your history on VGR it long been the case that anything you have to say on the issues of diversity, inclusion and race carry no weight whatsoever, but it's still good practice to provide some context and show what it is you were on about. Or maybe this was an attempt to twist the words as the word "stereotypical" is nowhere to found in the actual quote from the person who aid it? Whatever the case, here's the original article from HipHopWired.com for everyone to check out. It was certainly a poor choice of words from the BBC's Deputy Diversity Chief Miranda Wayland (Not a columnist, by the way.), but I believe the point she was trying to get across was that she felt the character didn't reflect the true culture of what it is be black in modern Britain as well they could have. I'm not black and nor have I seen the show, so can't offer an opinion on whether or not I think she's right, but like I said to me this was a bad choice of words rather than bad intentions or purpose. And with all due respect, if I had to take her word or yours over this issue, I would take hers. Not to mention that none of this has anything to do with the BBC's review of The Last of Us TV show. Miranda Wayland Doesn't even work for BBC anymore, apparently she took a job with Amazon Studios Europe last year (Source). What @Crazycrab said pretty much sums it up. And I think this is especially important for an actress who isn't American and thus can't user her born, natural accent to not let her performance be too heavily diluted by the work Ashley did. What Neil Druckmann and the rest of the team surely want out of Bella Ramsey is to honour the original, but bring a performance all of her own, and that's what we as fans want as well.

Neil Druckmann Says His Next Game Is "Structured More Like A TV Show"
Shagger replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
As others have pointed out, it's not like episodic games are a new thing, but having read the article I don't think that's what Neil Druckmann meant. I think he's referring to the creative process being like the way a TV is done, more specially the writing process. What difference this will make to the already very narrative driven video games Neil Druckmann is known for, I don't really know. I personally always felt games like The Last of Us and Uncharted followed a very similar kind of liner story progression and the kind of pacing that's typical for TV shows anyway. -
Gampass (or at least Gamepass Ultimate) includes access to EA Play, and that includes access to Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which is of course a remaster or the original Mass Effect Trilogy. So in way, all three games are on Gamepass, just in an indirect way.

People in the UK will be able to watch the show on Sky Atlantic. Unfortunatly it air at the same time as it does in America, meaning 2am BST on the 16nth. Bit of a pain, but it won't stop me from staying up to watch it. Hiding what, exactly? That's a strange thing to say anytime without any context, but it's especially strange on the back of what @Crazycrab posted. I'll give you the one from IGN, I understand why somebody wouldn't take them from thier word, but one of the reviews @Crazycrab posted was from a content creator, not a media outlet, and another was from the BBC. I don't know how much you know about the BBC, but suffice say they have nothing to gain by posting a false positive review for a show that will air on Sky in the UK. The BBC is public funded, it is not a commercial outlet, thus advertising is literally illegal on the BBC. In short, I don't see what these outlets would want to hide, nor what they would have to gain by hiding it, so could you please elaborate? EDIT: The Last of Us TV will ait 3am BST on Sky Atlantic, not 2am as previously stated.

As far as I know, Nicholas Cage started in comedies and didn't do much action/drama until the latter half of his career. One of the first films of his I ever saw was Trapped in Paradise. It is actually quite good. But back to the point. It's not like I can't see him pull of Dracula, the guy has range, the problem is having people take him seriously as Dracula. Even the character itself is hard to take seriously anymore, so casting somebody like Nicholas Cage to play just makes an already hard task even harder.

Testing video games sounds fun, but the reality is that this is some properly tedious stuff. Move a character one step, have the bring out and use all the items and weapons, have them crouch, use all the items and weapons again, turn a little bit, then test all the items and weapons again, crouch and test them all again, repeat until you're back facing the original direction, take another step then do it all over again. After one day you would probably not want to play a game again.

Couldn't agree less. Split screen and local multiplayer have been getting phased out on consoles in the last 3 generations for same reason everything changes in the industry. Money. It has nothing to do with technical issues or any alleged inferiority with the concept, with all due respect that is your opinion and nothing more. This goes back to what I've said about Burnout Paradise in the past. As soon as the PS3 came out, they launched the game with local multiplayer removed completely from the game. Think about it, why would a company sell a game whare four people can crowd around just one console and play one copy of a game when you can force to buy four consoles four copies of a game (and later even have to pay a subscription) just to play together. It's bullshit. Multiplayer used to be about friendly competition and having fun, but the move to online has turned it toxic. I'm not saying one can't have fun playing multiplayer on a network, LAN parties especially can bring a lot of the atmosphere from traditional multiplayer back, but it still means playing multiple copies on the game on multiple systems, so it the same "Burnout Paradise" bullshit I was talking about earlier.

NBA 2K23 Season 4:The Release Date, Leaks and More
Shagger replied to Marven98's topic in Video Games
Locking thread as once again this post has copied from somewhere else, more specifically a forum post geeksandgamers.com. The post you copied has been removed from geeksandgamers, but there is no doubt that is where it came from. Locked. -
Actually he has, and to me that is the problem. It was in a 1988 dark comedy called "Vampire's Kiss". However, as the following clip will demonstrate, there is good reason to doubt that the powers that be behind Renfield recognised this as an "important mark" on his resume when they considered him for the role, and that's assuming they even knew about this movie at all: It is this movie that made me question why they choose Nicholas Cage for the role as Dracula in Redfield because his performance in Vampire's Kiss has been the subject of so many meme's that as least some people would find it hard to take him seriously. Vampire's Kiss presents Nicholas Cage at maximum Nicholas Cage, if you know what I mean. It's a comedy, so of course he act's like a goof in it, but still. It's kind of like casting Jim Carry to play a PI in a serious movie after Ace Ventura.

I know that this is a movie based on a game and even made in partnership with the company that publishes that game, but it's still a movie, so this isn't gaming news. That is why I'm moving this to the movies and TV sub forum. And to be honest, I don't really understand why this needs to exist. This isn't the same thing as making a movie out of Need for Speed because Grand Turismo has always been a plotless driving sim'. This will be a film about fictional racing drivers in a fictional racing series that meant to emulate and mirror the real thing, and I just don't se that working. It's got a great cast, but racing movies just work better if they based on something real like Senna or lean all into a fantasy, not a bizarre mix of both like this seams to be.

Who went down on who to get Nicholas Cage to play Dracula?

Yes, it's only Ellie standing in the middle of a town so it should be safe.

Elden Ring as the most awarded Game of the Year recipient

I'm going to give you a little tip. If you copy and paste a post or text from an outside source that includes hyperlinks, only the overlaying text actually gets copied, not the hyperlink itself. I don't know if this is plagiarism or if it's an incompetent attempt to spam, but either way it's not on. Locking this thread, and for for the sake of your future participation on this forum @Marven98, there had better not be any more of this.
