This isn't part the official sound track of the game, this something created by a sperate entity partially inspired by the game (It says a much in the description of the video). Because of that, I'm afraid it doesn't count. It is superb though, so thanks for sharing.

Maybe I'm not quite underranding this and maybe things like Backloggd take it a step further. GOG Galexy pretty does this very thing, and it's free. It would be helpful if actually put up some links to some of these services and/or articles, reviews and other information about them.

First, a link to the story about Jake Snipes from a legitimate source. https://www.ign.com/articles/god-of-war-ragnarok-has-a-side-quest-that-is-a-beautiful-tribute-to-a-developer-who-passed-away It's nice that they did this. I have the game, but having difficulty finding the time to play it. I like what I've seen so far though.

Tales of Berseria. For a game that came out in 2017, it's pretty poor. The art style and overall design is great, but the graphics wouldn't impress even if it was on an XBox 360 or PS3. A great game, but it looked so out of date.

And it was great, actually. They created a fun, gothic story with some real, legitimate drama, superb acting from pretty much everyone and they really nailed the sardonic sense of humour perfectly. The really nailed the main character and brough her bang up to date by very cleverly leaving Wednesday herself stuck in the past. Jenna Ortega plays Wednesday exactly as we know and love her with her quite and sarcastic, yet slightly menacing and creepy demurer. The show also isn't afraid to get a little bit violent which I think works. It also looks superb. the cinematography and visual style work well because the establish a great contrast to our main characters in a subtle, but very effective way. Tim Burton is known for his gothic and morbid visual style as well as aforementioned contrast that to something more bright and optimistic and his fingerprints are all over this. The music is interesting because, as far as I can tell, its made up almost entirely of classical instrumental covers of famous pop and rock sones. They managed to work in Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" into there as well, extra points for that. Regardless of the source for the music, it suits well with the intended tone. It does not, however, make up for the fact that delightful Adam's Family theme song is nowhere to be found here, which is a shame. The story is intelligent without leaving the viewer behind. There is some pacing problem in that I think the first half of the series maybe a bit slow with the second half maybe a fast, but it draws you in and keeps you engaged. It's not "laugh out loud" hilarious, like I said its dry and sardonic and it's more content to "pick it's moments" rather that drown you in comedy. This was a smart move as the drama needs time in this to set and make it's impact, and it does with the comedy prompting nice breaks in between. Issues? Well, not much but there was one thing that did bother me. This series is obviously set in another universe whare mythical creatures like Vampires, Werewolves and Sirens exist and are know in society as "outcasts". In fact, the series is set in a boarding school for outcasts. This bothered me because, to me, The Adams Family was always about an abnormal and morbid family interacting with a normal, innocent world. A strange family mixing in with a normal world, but the world here is itself strange. It's not like the series has a particularly imaginative or fresh take on these creatures, them and thier differences to normal people and how they interreact with this world is barley even focused on, so I really didn't see the purpose of this. This does work it's way in a big way into the story in ways I won't spoil, but that's an issue for me as well because it feels like thier changing The Adams Family to fit the plot rather than creating a plot to fit the characters. Still, it's a great series that's well worth a watch and I would highly recommend it.

I didn't care much for the first film. It was impressive in terms of it's visuals and scale, but the story was preachy, clichéd and just not interesting. It's not like I'm not at all interested in seeing this movie, but I'll happily wait.

I've move the topic to the music sub-forum. On topic, my tastes have changed drastically. I was really into house and dance in my early-mid teens, but I got into metal in a big way in my late teens and haven't looked back. I still like a bit harcore house like acid house, but metal brings the same level on intensity but with better songscraft and more merit in terms of musicianship. I know it seems a little odd, but it honestly felt like natural progression to me.

No, they're more expensive because it's a new format of SSD storage, an emerging technology, not because there's more space on it. Whips the same format, a lager SSD is naturally going to case more than a smaller one, but you can get SSD's that cost less despite being lager because the format is different.

Getting back on topic. 6/10 I get what you're saying about it, it's good theme, just that memorable to me. Honestly, I think it may have worked better as a movie theme because it's one of those musical pieces that would help set a mood during opening credits to lead onto the firsts scene, but in a game the first thing you come across is the main title screen and menu, something you're busy on and will probable blast past in few moments with really letting the music do it's thing. A nice piece of music, but not great for a game, even a game as story heavy as Mafia II.

Correct, and that's why I'm removing his post (This does mean editing your post as well @Tonberry, I hope you don't mind). This is @Justin11 posting a reply without paying attention to what the topic is, something that happens a lot for him and it's been getting worse recently. @Justin11, I can't say anything to you I haven't already said in my numerous PM's and warnings before, that's why I'm doing this on the public forum this time, see if that makes a difference. Start paying attention to what you post, you know, like when people do when the actually care about what the post, or you will no longer be allowed to post on VGR at all.

What is the difference between a “puzzle” and an “obstacle course”?
Shagger replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
A puzzle is something you approach with no immediate solution. One has to employ problem solving to find the way past it, but there is no skill involved, just logic. It's a test of the the mind In an obstacle coerce the way through is obvious, it's all bout having the reflexes and skill to make it through. That is a test of skill, not strategy or logic. So what is the difference between a puzzle and an obstacle course? In short, everything. I do recall the platforming puzzles in game like Tomb Raider and the relic ruins in Horizon: Forbidden West that do combines puzzle solving and platforming together (what I would call environmental puzzles or platforming puzzles), but those are a combination of those two different components into one mechanic. To me the idea of a "jump puzzle" just sounds like a stupid name for something that already exists. -
I would never find myself in a position to have my pessimistic expectations for a game be justified because if I thought a game would be crap I wouldn't consider buying it in the first place.

Honestly, I don't know why they wouldn't just make up player names for EA Sports Collage football if they can't get every name and likeness licensed. I mean, who is going to check to see if "John Smith" really plays for the Cincinnati Bearcats?

PlayStation Bans Shovelware and Easy Platinum Games on PS Store

I don't understand why you struggle with the idea of doing a quick search on the internet to find these things out for yourself. Yes, it's out, has been for about a week on Xbox Platforms and PC.

I would develop an opinion on this, but I'm paralyzed by not caring very much. Seriously though, this is actually interesting in that EA are full of shit. Clearly, this delay has nothing to do with trying to "meet or exceed our player expectations" or any form of quality control (You only need to look at Madden to know they couldn't care less about that), it's because collage athletes have them over a barrel when it come to licensing and I think that's fucking hilarious.

I sense a major case of retro-gouging is about to happen here. To me, they would be justified at selling this for the same price as an Xbox Series controller if it comes with the same features. From what I can see in the article, it does seem to be effectively a bang up to date controller with the 360 paint job with what looks like the same compatibly, Bluetooth wireless and USB-C charge port. I do like it, but I have no faith that they will sell it at a fair price.

What game do you struggle with that everyone claims is easy?
Shagger replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Look again at the title of the thread; "What game do you struggle with that everyone claims is easy?" That's not what a souls game is to anyone because they're punishingly hard by design, like I said. It's also clear form what you've posted that is not what a souls game is to you either. You said your friends recommended the games to you, not that they claimed they were easy. Understand a topic before you comment on it. You have actually posted to this same topic several times already, so I don't understand why you get it. -
What game do you struggle with that everyone claims is easy?
Shagger replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The title of the thread is "What game do you struggle with that everyone claims is easy?". Setting aside my own personal distain for these types of game because I feel thier cheap, not hard, Soul's games and Souls likes are hard by design, it's all about the difficulty. There may not be any game or game series more inappropriate to discuss in this thread. You find them hard, but so does everyone, that's the whole point. In fact people are so obsessed with the difficulty in these games that they're completely blind to the games faults. -
PlayStation Bans Shovelware and Easy Platinum Games on PS Store
Shagger replied to Moonface's topic in Playstation
If this is PlayStation doing this only now, it's long overdue. The PS Store is not nearly as bad as Steam when it comes to shovelware, poor quality control and achievement farming games, but the fact that they have got these games on the store at all is bad enough. I mean, who went down on who for games like Life of Black Tiger to not only get on the PlayStation store, but be promoted on PlayStation's YouTube channel? Then there's Gilson B Pontes, does he have photos of Jim Ryan at an orgy or something? How else would he get his game onto PlayStation year after year? -
I played the first two (Well, I think the first two) Thief games back in the day. They felt very advanced for thier day with how they looked and in particular the enemy AI. It's possible that they haven't aged all that well, but I haven't played them for some time. I haven't played the 2014 game, so I can't comment, but I remember not exactly impressing critics nor gamers much at the time.

The sequel Middle Earth: Shadow of War has actually been out for quite some time. Not sure if there's another game in the works.

Mine looks normal, it must be something to do with your settings either on the browser or on YouTube. You probably did so on purpose, but just in case you didn't, I should point out that the text in you post was also all in italic.

@Crazycrab and @Justin11 Enough. This is something to discuss on either the sports or the debate sub forum. Move the discussion off this thread or don't have it at all.
