  1. With all due respect, it's not up to you to decide when matters like this are resolved. And in this it's not up to me either. It's @The Blackangel who voiced the complaint in first place, so when she sees how this has played out and is ready to respond, I'm sure she will understand this was all a big misunderstanding. In the meantime, do not attempt moderate this forum yourself. Not only does it not help the staff do thier jobs and in fact makes it more difficult, it's against the rules and clearly stated as such in the Forum Rules and Guidelines;
  2. I've re read them serval times and I simply do not get how those post were in reference to what @Justin11 said in his one and only post in this thread, a post you never quoted nor made clear you were referencing to; So either you've been trying to annoy @The Blackangel or the hap-hazard, spurious nature of the way you post has, in this case, made it difficult to understand what your talking about. For your sake, I'm gonna assume the latter and give you the benefit of the doubt. However, myself, @The Blackangel nor anyone else could possibly be blamed for getting confused. One of you posts is a quote from @Reality vs Adventure that was clearly in refence to @The Blackangel directly; And this was your reply, talking about some "dude" in the third person without making any reference to @Justin11 or anybody else, thus the subject of the conversation didn't change. It was still the same person, @The Blackangel. In other words, it's you who cocked it up. And nobody owes you an apology for misunderstanding. In the future, please just take a moment to read what it is you posting before posting it. Then read it again once you have whilst there's still time to used the "edit" function to correct any errors.
  3. This has gone far enough, and it's you clearly need to showing some respect. Even after @The Blackangel made it crystal clear to you perfectly politely; You still persisted by using male pronouns in reference to her: I know you were referring to @Withywarlock in the original post @The Blackangel quoted; But it was still a quote from you that you clearly read and understood. And most importantly, the posts in the second image came after the others. That means there is only one possibility here, that you're doing this deliberately. So stop it immediately and apologise and even sooner. I don't want to see this crap from you again. Addressing someone by thier preferred pronouns is not a big ask.
  4. Thanks for creating this thread as it's a useful idea. However, there is a problem. This thread needs updating as the games available with Gamepass change, but because regular member can only edit thier own posts within 10 minutes of posting them, this is gonna be difficult for you to work on you own. That's why it's my responsibility to keep the threads informing the forum about what's going on with Free Games with Epic, Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus up to date because only a moderator or site admin is actually able to do it. Still, like I said a similar thread for Gamepass makes sense. Send me a PM @Techno and we'll figure out how best to go about this.
  5. I remember being pretty lost when I first tried Minecraft and I don't recall a tutorial.
  6. @Techno It's apricated when you post topics in "Gaming News" to link to an article of media detailing the story so it verifiable. No big deal, but I ask that you try and remember to do this in future. Here's a article from Eurogamer I found on the subject. Well yeah, Sony did indeed have to do something to assure thier shareholders that they weren't getting swamped by XBox's growing market share after buying Activision-Blizzard. Not gonna lie, I didn't see this coming and irony is not lost me given that Bungie were the original developers of Xbox's most iconic franchise, but outside that I just hope this isn't part of a plan to make Destiny a PlayStation exclusive because that will not end well. It's not a good franchise, they're not good games and it won't be worth it. PlayStation would make far better use of Bungie if they were to let them develop something else.
  7. If you got mad at the fact that looting the bodies didn't yield any purple items, then three bodies might still be enough to indicate a problem.
  8. Couldn't agree more. I don't think he's remotely aware of what comments and points make him look like.

    Origin

Origin is to EA what what Steam is to Valve, their own indigenous PC Game store and launcher.

    Origin

I thought EA were ditching Origin in favour of EA Desktop?

    Game size

As games are made to run at higher resolutions with more advanced graphics (thus, larger textures) with more animations, AI patterns and programming, they're going to take up more space, it's an inevitability of advances in game development. No doubt some publishers are guilty of of being lazy and not compressing games files like they could and leaving in dead code, but I'd say it's mostly about progress in the technology.
  12. First @CityJakeGamer25E, welcome to VGR. Second, I have moved the topic toe the "Movies" sub-forum as it's more appropriate location for such a topic. Now, on topic, and I don't really see this happening. I hadn't even heard of Diner Dash until now, and whilst I don't doubt its a good video game for what it is, it's just obscure that there's very little chance any major movie studio will take it on.
  13. Horizon: Forbidden West come out on Friday the 18nth of February on PS4 and PS5. Elden Ring come out a week later on the Friday the 25th of February on PC and consoles. Seriously, the internet is there...
  14. I honestly couldn't have put it better myself.
  15. Yeah, but instead of supporting the development of anything new and creative to define them as a platform, they're just buying up publishers. For them to boast about those "exclusives" would more likely irk people.
  16. Suffice to say, I am desperately looking forward to Horizon: Forbidden West. Loved the first game and would really like to not only play,, but review the second one as well.
  17. Sorry, but PeTA are not misunderstood, they're hopelessly insane. This same organisation decided is was less cruel to subject heavily pregnant woman and new mothers to be milked for our supply of dairy instead of cows. I'm all for animal welfare, free range farming and all that good stuff, but people like PeTA only know how to protest and never get listened to because there is no practically or common sense to be found in thier idea's. Going back to AC4, they obviously just wanted to leech of a popular video game to get thier name out there. Unless they genuinely believed that a kid plays AC4, then would want to go whaling. Just because thier members lack a will and intelligence of thier own and are so easy to manipulate, doesn't mean the rest of us are so inept. They could have spent that time and resources actually saving animals, but they didn't. As @The Blackangel hinted at, they have been responsible for a lot of culling's and putting down healthy animals in shelters they stopped funding over the years. They are not a charity worth supporting. They waste time and money on stupid publicity stunts like this all the time.
  18. Even though I have no respect for PeTA, I will admit they did a great job with that mascot. Couldn't have named him better.
  19. I think it would be fair to the balance of this thread and so @Heatman's friend can have all the information he need if I point out PlayStation do have and equivalent to Gamepass called PS Now. They're basically the same idea. What one each individual person might prefer will come down to opinion, but I do feel Gamepass has a bit more to offer.
  20. I stopped taking PETA seriously when the went after AC4: Black Flag because the claimed the "whaling" mechanic in would encourage youth to take up real whaling (Full story from Polygon). Several problems there; The game was rated for adults to play (M by the ESRB, 18 by PEGI, and so on), so if any child who played suffered any affect of kind, the blame lies solely on thier parents/gradians. Even if kids did play it, there as stupid as you PETA. No matter how impressionable kids admittingly can be, I still seriously doubt any of them would feel compelled to head out onto the open ocean on a 12 ft row boat and start throwing sticks at sharks. My kid played AC4. A lot. He didn't want to out onto the open ocean on a 12 ft row boat and start throwing sticks at sharks. He wasn't even interested in the "Assassins Creed" part of the game either. Not surprisingly, he was only really interested in shooting at other ships all the time. Why were they (and indeed, still are) wasting time, manpower and recourses on going after cruelty against pixels when they could be making that same effort to, oh, I don't know, PROTECTING ANNIMALS? Don't get me wrong, I fully understand how important education is in the fight for animal welfare and environmental protection, I understand that, I truly do, but nobody is going to listen to somebody who does not respect thier intelligence. Do stupid shit like this and people are not going to listen to you.
  21. Yeah, TOTALLY see what you mean; There is no depth, variety nor complexity. No villains that that need feared, no hero's that warrant admiration, nobody entangled in a complex story arc of thier own somewhere in between. Nobody doing the right thing for wrong reason, nobody doing the wrong thing for right reason, nobody struggling with thier own issues and the issues of others. Nobody that has anything memorable nor interesting about them with no complex moral issues addressed as part of thier own story arcs. Nothing like that at all... ... or the far more likely possibly that @m76 is being @m76 again and doesn't want to admit that a game with a sassy, witty, strong female lead with some subtle feminist traits and dialogue makes him uncomfortable, so instead is making a nonsense claim that all the males in HZD were handled like this guy... Along with, of course, the obligatory "By speaking in support of *insert cause* you're actually in opposition to said cause because you're making those you're trying to speak for appear weak.". In other words, bullshit. Sorry, but you have seriously got to revaluate how perceive reality and how that reality is reflected in fiction. Your view's are just warped, so warped you have to warp the fiction to have the world make sense to you, and it's not good. I'm genuinely concerned about you.
