I see the point if you wanted to "upgrade" to a better device, but the OP was talking changing a controller for purely aesthetic reasons. It's fine if you wanna do that but I just think it's odd. I guess I think of peripherals like gaming controllers as a purely functional things and don't really care that much for aesthetics. I suppose some do and that's fine, it's just not me.

A professional what exactly?

There seems to be a lot heat about this I to honest, I don't really see why. Also before anyone asks no, I'm not going to bother to read through 12 pages of posts especially if the any of the arguments are off topic. I'm just going to expand on my initial post: The whole concept of being "being board with a controller" still seems very weird to me. It's like watching TV and saying "I'm SO bored with my remote control". I can obviously understand being bored with the show your watching or the game your playing but peripheral... really? Judging by how worked up people are getting there's either something I'm missing or I'm in the minority.

Based on the latest presentation, Starfield is basically Star Citizen for $27,930 less.... Except that Starfield will actually exist as finished game!

Tell me about it! That's the "PC Master Race" mentality in a nutshell right there!

The only Ridge Racer game I played on home console was Ridge Racer 7 and it was shit, worse than Burnout Paradise. There was neat customisation but that only positive I can think of. The tracks felt like they were designed on a etch-a-sketch, the physics were all over the place, horrible trance music and even after you inevitably turn that crap off you still have the helium fuelled announce lady constantly knocking inside your ears with stupid shit like "You've entered the slipstream!". Wow, have I really!? At least Burnout Paradise had Gun's and Roses and knew when to shut up!

The only people that have any interest in NFT'S are those who want to sell them on for profit, therein lies the problem. Nobody really wants these stupid things so they have no real value, hence their tanking big time. Think about it, if they were a good investment why is everyone trying desperately to sell them when their value has sunk to the bottom of the barrel? Now would be best time to buy and hold onto them right? WRONG! Their pushing them on because they know that's the only they could possibly get anything back on their investment, NFT's are done! This is before we address the other issue of vulnerable these scams are to other scams. Look what just happened to Seth Green. His Bored Ape NFT was stolen from right under his nose and he just had to fork out another $300,000 to get it back or he would risk loosing the rights to use it in a TV show he's producing (LINK). I got zero sympathy for him or anyone else who's lost out to these scams because we've been warning them for months.

Wait till you get a load of this thing I just found out! In 2003 Within Temptation did a cover of Kate Bush's Running up that Hill. Without spoiling anything this song is pretty significant in Season 4 of the show. For those that know why, just watch what happens in this video!

Well those guitars from Taylor are about 2 to 3 grand, so not exactly a bad find in a post Apocalypse! 😆

We just got some interesting information about the Horizon Netflix Series. It actually going to be set in 2047 hence it's title, Horizon 2047. https://comicbook.com/gaming/amp/news/horizon-zero-dawn-netflix-tv-series-report/ This is interesting because not only does it mean that it's it set about 1000 years before the events of Horizon Zero Dawn, but looking at the timeline, It's about 17 years before the Faro Plague, Operation Enduring Victory and the Zero Dawn Project. 2047 is just before Elisabet Sobeck leaves Faro Automated Systems after their switch from Green Robotics to Military Systems, so my guess is the show's focus is starting from there then moving through to the events of Faro Plague? There doesn't seem to be much happening at the point that's directly relevant to the events of the games.

Diablo Immortal is EXACTLY what we expected it to be...
Crazycrab replied to Shagger's topic in Gaming News
The saddest thing about all this is the fact that, at least from I understand from people that have played it, is that this is (or at least has base) of a genuinely good Diablo game. It could have been the best Diablo game to date but the monetisation has completely ruined it. I've read some YouTube comments from some others have run the numbers and it seems that $110,000 figure is if anything the cost to a player with good or a least above average luck out of the loot box's. A spending player with average to poor luck could actually be nudging a quarter of a million US dollars to max out! It's bloody ridiculous! -
If I unintentionally eluded that you could purchase Elden Ring (or any game for that matter) on Steam then play it on mobile I apologize. I feel the need before anyone spends the money on it and feels like they have been mislead to make it clear.... THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS! You can't play games on a steam library directly on your phone itself. Steam link is service that streams titles that are installed on a PC to other devices like Phones, Tablets Smart TV's and other computers. It's similar to the Remote Play Feature on PlayStation that allows you to play games installed on you console on the Vita. It needs to have a physical machine with the game installed and connected to the same local network or internet in order to function. I've not used it myself but from what I understand it's far from a perfect solution. If you want to use it via the internet you need to keep your PC running while your out and even via LAN the latency is reportedly worse than Stadia's. If you want to play PC games on the go the I'd say the Steam Deck (or something similar) or a gaming Laptop would be a better solution.

For the amount of time you spent on it I say $150 is actually pretty conservative.

XBox Live for the 360 is still connected but that's about it. There hasn't been any content support in years.
-
Yeah, I mentioned it on the other thread. It's called Steam link. It lets you play games stored on your PC on a mobile device via LAN or internet connection. It's not a feature of "Elden Ring" and the same feature exists on consoles through Remote Play on PlayStation and XBox.

I'm not going to lecture you since it's obvious you know the difference between a Kilt and a Skirt. It does bring a up curious point though. Traditionally a "True Scotsman" wears nothing under his kilt. I'm genuinely not sure if same if the rule applies to a "True Scotswoman" 😆!

There actually unisex, you see women and girls in pipe bands wear them all the time.

For the record @Shagger, I did notice it was spelled Eden Ring but unlike you I did due diligence and looked up "Eden ring" before I made my post and came to the conclusion that this was a typo. The only other reference I found was a game on Google Play called Eden: World Builder Simulator. It's looks a typical free to p̶l̶a̶y̶ wait world builder with crafting, paywalls and timers. I guess this might be what @Lens is referring to but I don't think so.

Most educational games not made to be educational games?
Crazycrab replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Prisoner of War on PS2. You play as an American Pilot during WW2 who is captive in Stalag Luft and Colditz. It's a fictional story but there are a lot of elements of reality within it. -
Ok I'm confused, when did Elden Ring release on mobile? Am I missing something? OilI know it's playable on mobile through Steam Link but I don't think that counts. I'll make my opinion clear here and say that I completely agree that Elden Ring and pretty much every other From Software title are overhyped as fuck. They all seem to be pretty much the same depressing elitist sludge and the fanbase consistently declare each one the second coming of Jesus. But I still have to be honest @Lens, I don't know where you're coming from here.
