  1. A sassy redhead shoots wooden arrows at giant armoured metal animals and pokes them with a stick somehow expects them to die? WHAT AN IDIOT! (Horizon Zero Dawn) ..... ....She still hasn't learned! (Horizon Forbidden West)
  2. I was never massively into South Park but I would catch an episode once in a while and love the movie. I did catch one episode however that REALLY put me off. It was the one about Mel Gibson and his anti-semitic rants. I get the commentary and Gibson definitely deserved the public bollocking that he got but the episode was WAY to over the top and exaggerated to be funny. It was just a bunch of yelling and screaming that was barley even within context of what it was trying to commentate on. After watching that I was like:
  3. I don't think that at all, their get somebody else rich quick scheme's. The only realistic way to make any money is to sell somebody else tokens, then the only way for them to make to sell to others. It's literally a pyramid scheme.

    Cryptosnake

Of course it isn't, it cyrto-pyramid sham. That's what all these ,"play to earn games" are.
  5. No, what I mean is if the game is designed in such a way that you need to spend extra money to make it better, then the game itself has been compromised by design in order to encourage you to pay. If they weren't comprising it and your having fun then you wouldn't buy any of the microtransactions, see what I mean?
  6. If you need to spend money to have fun then the game sucks!
  7. You see, that's the trap! They design the games to be a grind and not fun unless you pay to skip the grind. They design a problem then sell you the solution. In other words the game is not only shit, it's shit on purpose! This is why I despise micro-transactions so much. There is not one circumstance where their inclusion has made a game better to play.
  8. I agree, that is way to much. There are tons within the $30 - $60 Like these that will be just as good if not better. The only "advantage" as far as I can see is thier much advertised 60ms latency, but think about it. This makes minimal to no difference while listening to music or watching video. As for gaming if you have to the device in you hand or on a table in front of you anyway.... Why not just use just the mic on the device where the latency is zero! It makes no sense, there trying to address a problem that doesn't exist.
  9. Lots of people really dump on Shadow in the Cloud starring Chloë Grace Moretz and granted it's definitely not perfect but found it enjoyable. The major problem with it the whole supernatural creature element to it. I think if they had just kept the focus on Moretz's character dealing with the misogyny of pears, being stuck in that claustrophobic B-17 Bull Turret while everything was going wrong an maybe leaving the audience guessing if that "gremlin" was real it would have turned out better.
  10. I just another bloody good animated series on Netflix, Maya and the Three. It's based on ancient Mexican and central American mythology (Aztec, Mayan, ect). It's mostly marketed towards kids and it can get pretty goofy but there is some very impressive action sequences and heavy drama, especially in the latter part of series. Also the writer/director is Mexican and just about every member of the cast has some Latin American heritage and/or background so if your not a fan of white washing, there is no issue. Yes I know it technically came out in 2021 but whatever.
  11. It more like and interactive narrative type experience such as Telltale's The Walking Dead and has a similar episodic structure. The first game's 5 episodes were released throughout 2015.
  12. US history is not my strong suit but wasn't Lincoln literally one of the founder's of the Republican Party?
  13. I'm more methodical, I tend to wind up the side quests and stuff in a area before moving on. It can be annoying sometimes when you get what I like to call the dreaded "Skyrim Spiral" where you pick up one quest but end up finding 3 or 4 more while doing it. Then of course you start them and find even more even more! Drives you bloody crazy!
  14. Well it's your choice, don't say we didn't warn you.
  15. I wouldn't suggest that idea if I were you... SkyFIRE Vs kingPOTATO, let's face it. Unless you have some obscure drug advantage, you are literally baked potato!
  16. I've completed the story, the side quests and most of the collectables. Right now I'm finishing off the side activities (Arena, Machine Strike, ect) and getting all the legendaries and upgrades. I loved Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West improves on it in almost every way.
  17. Funny fact, in Ocarina of Time Deku sticks actually are more powerful than the starting sword!
  18. I recommend Life is Strange, I think you'll love it. I'm not going to spoil anything in this post but I have to tell you... DO NOT play Before the Storm. If we think of Life is Strange is like a great date. The kind where you really click, have a great conversation, a really nice time and hook up at the end of the night and all's good. Before the Storm is like then discovering the next day that your hookup was your cousin the whole time! Not only is it an objectively horrible experience on it's own but it taints the good experience you had before. It's not worth it.
  19. Leave @Head_Hunter alone guys! Remember the title of the thread is "What games do YOU consider to be a masterpiece?". If that's how he feels that's how feels.
  20. Oh for fucks sake! Are we seriously still on that! Ok, first it's not Silent Hill. It was never Silent Hill It will never be Silent Hill. There are dozens, maybe even hundreds of games in this style aren't Silent Hill. It was obvious to anyone that wasn't blowing wildly optimistic fanboy smoke up their own arse that it's not Silent.... Fucking.... Hill! So please stop screwing yourselves over and looking like idiots. It was even confirmed by multiple sources that it's not Silent Hill, or that it has anything to do with Hideo Kojima over a year ago. Unless there is conformation from Konami that a Silent Hill is in production or that the IP has been sold to somebody else, Silent Hill is dead, get over it! The only reason anyone suspect's this game of being a scam is because idiot fanboys breathed to much into it letting themselves think it was something it never was. If it weren't for everyone would just accept what's going on right now for what it is. A game from a small studio that's having difficulty's like many small studios do. Here is a statement from Blue Box:
  21. Do you have any proof of this? I can't help but notice that none of the people posting here are ANY proof of this. The obvious reason that it is in fact baseless crap. The best the OP @skyfire can do is post research from Oxford University, one of the highly respected academic institutions on earth and say essentially "it's wrong because I disagree with it." No rebuttal of the evidence, no explanation or analysis of their methods to prove they are flawed, no contradictory data, nothing. One again there have dozens of studies, some lasting more that an a decade comparing tens of thousands of subjects from preteen into adulthood, and no direct link between video games and violent behaviour had EVER been found. Yet there are people who still believe in this link fuelled with nothing but pure speculation and excuses: https://www.theguardian.com/games/2020/jul/22/playing-video-games-doesnt-lead-to-violent-behaviour-study-shows The only thing that was found (as I explained earlier) was a link to aggression, but no more than playing competitive sports and other forms of competition.
  22. FIFA 22 came out in 2021, problem solved.
  23. There's a few game related Easter eggs in there but the Witcher Series is definitely based on the books, not the games.
  24. THIS IS RACISM I TELL YOU! Today against Crabs and next month against Power Rangers and/or the colour green!
