A better story would've been one where not all of my actions are exercises in futility. 1 hour ago, StaceyPowers said: I've only done one playthrough of Bioshock 1 so far. Was Jack aware of what was going on? I don't recall that. Booker definitely had zero idea what was going on in Infinite. I mean, he probably started to suspect it (as the player might), but his memories were mangled going in. I think if you are pyschologically compelled to do exactly what they say to you after "would you kindly" you'd know. As for booker, yeah he didn't know, I remembered incorrectly why I so disliked the story after 8 years.

Booker achieved his preferred outcome, and that was what I wanted, so I was good with it. I see your point about Jack. I guess I gave it a pass because the poor confused fellow has only existed a short time, and I too did not really question why I was doing all these strange things (I figured I was doing them because for whatever reason, Jack thought he should), so perhaps he didn't either =D But you are right--now I stop to think about it, it is odd. kingpotato
The only thing that I didnt liked about Infinite is the final battle on top of the ship, I mean its simply a wave of enemies coming at you, for a game that has a good variety of enemies it was dissapointing that there was no final boss battle like in Bioshock 1, I mean Frank Fontaine wasnt exactly a great boss in the first game but at least it was better than having a simple wave of common enemies, and besides the second game had already done that and Infinite had all the characters and universe to give us a good final boss. Other than that I actually liked the story.
Head_Hunter
I never played Bioshock, but I've seen numerous reviews of the game, I just view it as as one of those FPS action games that can't get off my mind anytime soon.
