A lot of point collection based games also fall into that but they are definitely not the gambling considering you do get what you want for trading those points. You see, trading cards have been around for eons and yet we see nowhere near the levels of addictions compared to loot boxes. The thing with trading cards is that 90% or more of a particular franchise are normally available barring the few legendary cards.
