Has anyone ever given you a tip that was incredibly helpful for you in playing a particular game or for gaming in general? What was it, and how did it make your life easier?

King of Fighters (1998 version i guess), a guy saw me playing in an Arcade some day and gave me some very OP combo that i used for the long term and saved me lot of time and money, if you see this post by any chance, thank you a lot!

My friend used to tell me not to take as many three point shots in NBA Live games.  I would like to thank him as back in that era of NBA history this was very sound advice.

I was actually advised not to too aggressive with my gaming because it's definitely going to ruin my gaming experience in a way that won't be cool.
