How do you choose your romantic interest in a video game (i.e. a game like DA or ME)?

How do you decide on which character you will pursue as a romantic interest in video games that have that as a feature? I always end up torn between two or three options, and usually whoever forces me to pick first is the one I dump, and whoever is left is who I end up with.

Honestly, it depends on the personality of the particular love interest and how well they compliment the character. Otherwise, I just put their names in a raffle and I pick one lol.

It always depends on the personality of the character and of course the gender of the player character. Funny enough, the only character that I never even considered as an option in ME was Tali, depsite being one of the most popular romances as I understand.

Seriously, I can't really recall such a game. Personally, a game of romance isn't something I'm really into.
