For me, it's the scalpers that cause the most issue. They buy up most of the stocks so we end up with this shortage of supply and sell at absurd prices which most of us aren't prepared to pay so we end up having to wait 3-6 months before we can get what we want at close to MSRP. skyfire
Yeah and the issue for the same is that ebay like platforms are serving them. I think world has to get rid of such platforms selling such hard to get items in bulk.

If it became a financial burden, it would be addressed immediately.
skyfire
I guess so. Besides unless ebay gets cheated in this they would not bother even looking into this part.

Of course, they wouldn't pay it much mind and besides, there's no laws that force them to stop price gouging by scalpers.
skyfire
Yeah ebay is the one that started the alixpress to US and UK market imports. the moment china adds some tax, ebay is first to go bankrupt paying those taxes lol.

The US does already add taxes for such purchases but those are normally passed on to the consumer so that definitely won't bankrupt them.

Yeah that is from US front end but the moment aliexpress becomes exclusive then dropship front ends like ebay would be getting tax issues from china side, and not US side.
