Crazycrab
From what I understand it's based on Linux and (much like Linux) it's sometimes used by software developers to test their apps since it's offers more flexibility when it comes to control. It's not really commercially viable because if compatibility issues and a low user base though.

What's the system pecs needed to run and does it really offer far greater then any other? Jolla is the device on which it is working. The official team says some of the sony and samsung devices where the OS is ported. So there are some progress points for the OS. I am not sure however if it's gaming level device/OS because I am not aware of their app store or means to install games or how much capable default Jolla phones are for the gamers. skyfire
No idea. It looks like more or less testing and see what may work. Some Sony xperia range of phones are easy to work with as there are drivers available.
Heatman
It's actually my first time of hearing about this OS, and it seems like something good. Let's see how it goes as I may look it up sooner rather than later.
skyfire
Currently it's kind of limited to EU markets but not sure if it plans on coming out side the current market.

skyfire
There are people using everything old if they have no choice. I know there are some of people who use the Windows XP too.
egghead
I have only used Android, and except Android, I know about iOS and Windows. Never heard of Sailfish OS. What phones use this OS?

Head_Hunter
I never really made researches accross devices mainly around Americans, especially north Americans and Asian region. Looking at this brand centred to Norwegian demographic is super.
skyfire
They are currently only known in the norway and areas around. I guess they just want to take things slow and not force the progress.
Patrik
gave it a look, it looks so futuristic and unique (in some aspects) actually, would really give it a try if i had a supported phone that can run it 😞
