skyfire
Yeah sometimes CEO do act like one all instead of even listening to boards. We have no idea how things go there and I am sure their employees have no clue either.

skyfire
Most likely employees will lose any way, no company would want a bunch of union guys using media to threaten every now and then. So outsourcing is in picture there.

You do have a point because the gaming industry has been very anti union since forever so I can see them getting lots of pushback for this especially if they try to get employment from other gaming companies down the road. More and more lawsuits are going to start coming in from a lot of the investors. Good Riddance I say!
killamch89
This is really picking up now - can California sue EA next? I'd love to see them and Ubisoft and few other go down the same road.
skyfire
If this continues major game dev companies would move to middle east or 3rd world nations and buy the politicians and protect themselves. Mark my words, millionaires in US would eventually go out if this sort of unionization threatens their existence.

Valid point but I think the politicians would start to make laws to ban them from doing business in the region and that'd put them at an even greater disadvantage. Yes that is possible. But based on what I have seen that a lot of rich from the US, UK and Canada are revoking their citizenship and moving to other poor nations just to avoid all the unions and socialist policies that are affecting business. In this case not really because the gaming company moving out of their country will lower the amount of revenue in taxes and other stuff they'd earn so the government would look to put a policy in place to get that money out of them.
