Which timeline would you visit - the future or the past? Why would you want to visit that timeline and what would you do there?

I would want to visit 100 years in the past. I would take out a few select people to ensure that some of my enemies were never born.

I'd terminate the ancestor of the idiot who keeps pushing the flat earth theory in today's day and age. And tell people in the past that Flat Earthers enslaved us in the future so we have to stop them. It'd ensure that nonsensical theory goes away for good.
