killamch89
I do both for the most part but what I will say is I'd much rather exercise regularly because even if you have a poor diet, exercise seems to keep you a lot healthier than the other way around. Would you rather eat healthily or exercise regularly?
The Blackangel
I would go with healthy eating. If I wasn't in the wheelchair, I would be out hiking every day, so I would get the exercise. But I would need a good meal to keep going. So I would still take the food. I can't help it. I'm a foodie.

I'm not a foodie - I'm a straight glutton. Sometimes, I always wondered how my parents managed to feed me because I constantly finished a weeks worth of food in a day or two. When I was a teenager, if you saw me, there was food in one hand and a soda in the other. I was growing so much and so fast that my body needed the fuel. We couldn't keep food in the house because I would eat it all. I spend a lot of time in the garden eating what we had out there. If nothing else was available, I would often eat dry macaroni. I was always eating. I could easily finish off 2 large deep dish meat lovers pizzas, a dozen hot wings all by myself, and still be hungry. I was a bottomless pit. Now I can eat 2-3 slices an I'm full for the rest of the damn day. But nothing beats a home cooked meal, healthy or not.

That sounds like me - when me and my friends went for pizza in high school, I normally had two extra large pizzas to myself with cheese sticks and I'd finish my food long before everyone else and be asking them for food. The good thing is I always had a high metabolic rate so I only gained muscle and never put on any fat. Even now, I can still finish two extra large pizzas. The Blackangel
I never gained weight. I stayed at about 170 for years. I actually lost 30 pounds in boot camp. I didn't start gaining weight until I got older.

My parents gained weight in their 30s - I'm the only one who's managed to keep it off.
