You should also check out Virtue.  They came from the NWOBHM movement.  It was the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.  The movement lasted from around 1979-1984 in Great Britain.  It had legendary bands like Iron Maiden and forgotten favorites like Persian Risk.

Seriously that sounds like it's going to be very interesting. I'm definitely going to be checking it out sooner than later.
