What is the biggest leap in game quality/realism you've experienced?

Having just made the jump directly from PS3 to PS5, playing a recent PS4-era game (TLOU Part 2), I am just blown away by how crazy realistic games have become.

What is the single biggest leap in game realism you've experienced?

For me it is probably TLOU part one on the ps3. During that time I just upgraded from a ps2.

NES to RDR2. That's a bit of a system shock.

Mine happens to be a high jump from SEGA to Playstation 1. It was way too high for me to grasp but I did quite well with the differences in everything PS1 came with that's not with Sega.

Moving from gaming on PS3 and Xbox 360 to PC gaming a decade ago - I could believe the gulf in quality. Nowadays, it's nowhere as big especially when talking about bang for your buck.

I'm going to bring up a quantum leap in game quality.  GT3 was far better than GT2.  The graphics were sharper and cleaner and the cars raced better.

Seriously - It's not really an easy leap. I believe that it even gets more difficult to move from PC 💻 to consoles.
