Reality vs Adventure
We like to believe it is about the character to keep our sanity, while at the same time we take it personal if we get shot. How many of us sit there and think, "don't hurt the character! Stop it!" No; in every fight we make it about ourselves. Maybe we can separate that personalization while in a cut scene and remember our place that it's about the characters. But then all of a sudden a fight breaks out, and you are given control of the character again to fight, and it immediately becomes about ourselves again. That's the way of gaming. Physically controlling the character adds personalization, while the story adds characterization. We are stuck in two worlds simultaneously believing it is about us and them. Head_Hunter
The reason why we have favourite games is simply to enjoy it's story and gameplay most especially. You can't buy a game that isn't passionate to you, as such you'll always make the story speaking vividly about your own character.
Justin11
It should always centre to my own character and no other. I didn't spend money to buy a game simply to promote AI and not focusing on my own pro career.
