skyfire
So there are some good reviews for the chip and the verdict is in favor of many gaming companies making use of it.
killamch89
It's not a surprise that it can do a job. It seems good for the price especially in a crazy market where a 3060 cost $700.
skyfire
Yeah till 2023, we are going to see some high price for most fo the tech. but I wonder if this process series would be good enough for next few years game laptop lineup.

It's difficult to say because the new AMD Cpus are coming out in February so it'll probably be upended by those in terms of performance.
skyfire
Yeah that is what I was thinking too. I mean AMD is also going to test few new CPUs next year so I was thinking what is going to be the future on that context.

skyfire
And yes things would continue to get expensive from this point onwards from what I have seen so far.
Empire
I like the idea of testing memory scaling. It could be interesting to see how it scales from low to high end. Just how much more performance do you get from fast memory, or how much do you loose with slow memory IE 2133 or 2400 vs 3600+. Is the scaling anywhere close to linear? Maybe the memory controller is excellent and can push high speed ram better than other ryzen CPUs without desyncing from the infinity fabric. skyfire
These CPUs are beating the apples CPUs though as far as the gaming and 3D is concerned.
