If anyone here has done esports, did it change anything about how you play casually?

If you have participated in esports, did it change your approach toward casual gaming in any way, or how you feel about casual gaming? Did it increase or decrease how much time you dedicate to it?

I never participated in E-sports competitions before, I am simply planning and hoping one day, I'll get into streaming at twitch. At the moment I don't have much time to enter into E-sports. I'll simply say, gamers there are passionate playing it because they are earning a living playing video games.

I've never really participated in an online E-sports competition - at least an official one before. You'd definitely have to make some changes for competitions - that much I'm sure.

I am not streaming video games at twitch, I understand they do such for a living there, but I have no such time to spend there to earn.
