StaceyPowers
As I start closing in on the end of an open world game and my quest list starts to trickle out, I always feel really depressed, like I am watching the world stagnate and die around me. Does anyone else get that hollow, dismal feeling?
Boblee
I don't feel depressed with games that I play be it open world game or otherwise. I might feel sad for some just like with what happened in Spec Ops : The Line.

Head_Hunter
I don't feel depressed, I feel little bit nervous, frightened, due to the suspense that comes from the game's ending part.
Heatman
Why should I feel depressed about a game that I'm about to complete? It's the fun to complete it and move to another.

You can easily have it replaced.

Empire
I'll admit it's happened to me. And it's, always a weird thing too. I couldn't think of a name for it until I found this post. It's like you start playing after work and all of a sudden you see the sun coming up you can't help but think "Wow...It's really that late now isn't it?" I always feel really cheap afterwords. Justin11
When the emotions is heavy on a particular video game which we love, it will really be emotional reaching the end of it, some are depressed by that.
Head_Hunter
I don't let my emotions to let me down. I can be emotional depressed when a game isn't going my way, but it doesn't make me feel sad during the ending part of a video game.

But it's not right in my opinion to be all too emotional with playing any particular game for any reason whatsoever.

Yes, we shouldn't allow our emotions to interpret the video game for us. It is not meant to played and having deep emotional trauma for the games.
