Graphics Cards -- Is Ray Tracing Enough to Warrant Spending So Much on an RTX, or Should You Stay GTX?

Yes most likely something good you can expect from 2024 onwards if the current trend slows down after 2023.

I don't have a PC nor console that supports Graphics card that can access Ray Tracing. If I have the funds fir graphics cards I wouldn't hesitate to buy.

If you get them in near future, you would be upgrading your cards to one that supports the ray tracing.

Their is no problem, provided I have the funds, time and passion to seek Ray tracing. If I am not passionate again in the future, then I'll simply drop it down.

I hope you do have because otherwise the lack of which would be throwing you into regular options which may or may not be suitable for some future games.

To my understanding, ray-tracing is only utilized in some very niche titles at this point. As such, I find it difficult to justify the expense of RTX cards.

Wherever you need to show face and make use of the proper figure that is where it is used.
