Remember when people seen the leaks and assumed she was the main boss? 

I even believed the rumours that she was Alex Wesker. But oh well. You know how Capcom adds in throwaway villains these days, so you can't expect a proper continuation of any storyline they think up.

As far as making any proper continuation on the Resident Evil gaming franchise, Capcom don't see it as something that's worth sticking to.

Capcom simply earn for what's pleasing to them, they've gained popularity they now simply do what's more rewarding to them than impressing more of the customers.

You're very right on point. Their loyalty have shifted a very long time ago and it's long gone to ask for it to be back.

The most annoying thing is that even when the recently added games of theirs sucks like hell, they are still massively purchased.

They are still selling even the low level games due to the reputation they've built. Had it been they never built any reputation, it wouldn't have been possible for them to keep selling those trash video games.

Definitely, it's based on their already made reputation in the gaming industry that's still pushing up their sales.

That's just it. When you've gotten game, it will be hard for you to stop selling even when some of the production is poor. Your reputation will drive you to record sales. That's the case with majority of the video game companies around.

They are just like leaches living off their customers loyalty because they have already given in too much to what they used to do.

You're there, they are simply benefiting from their customers due to the connection they've built in the past. But such wouldn't last forever if they don't maintain it with improved editions.

Exactly, it's been that way and some people can't even help themselves when it comes to staying away from the games that aren't worth it.

It's not surprising that they do this with their characters especially eliminating villains without proper continuation. They simply suck at it.

Looking at the last year's concluded gaming awards, Resident Evil Village character pulled up levels, which show how gamers like them.
