What existing video game series do you think will still be around in 50 years?

The question for me isn't how long the game stays but how well it keeps being over that long period of time. I think God of War would keep up.

The Legend of Zelda series is most likely going to be very much around in 50 years time if they keep up with their development of the game with the way it's been for years.

When I checked on Google, I saw that Legend of Zelda series have lasted for 36 years, just 14 years shy away from hitting 50 years. I am hopeful they'll definitely do.

I never knew Zelda series have lasted up to that number of years, and they're still around, that's worthwhile indeed. 14 years time wouldn't be a big deal for them to achieve.

Tetris was created in 1984, which is 38 years old in 2022, their is every possibility of the game lasting for another 12 years, which it will continue to sell and collect downloads.

They are working on a new release Breath of the Wild 2 right now and given how good the first release was, it's going to be a classic one.

I'm crossing my hands and waiting for the announcement to go underway around the new Zelda game. I am not an Nintendo user, maybe I can consider a switch if I feel enough reasons to go into it.

Space war is one of the oldest video game of all time which was created in 1962, (60 years in 2022). It's an android version developed by Steve Russell.

They have already announced about the game, it's only a matter of time before it's development is completed and released.

The release window that's set up for The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild 2 is during Spring 2023. If they don't delay it again, we should have it by then.

Mortal Kombat is 30 years am counting since its first release in 1992. With the way it's going, it's getting past 50 years soon enough.

The Super Mario Series, from the Super Mario World-style platform games to the Mario Karts, doubt that the series will cease to exist.

I don't see any Mario series games dying off anytime soon, lasting even over 100 years is an option for the games.

The series have been running since 1981, their is every possibility for the Mario series to hit 50 years soon, which is nine years time.
