Kane99
We already have emulators for popular consoles, majority of them are retro console emulators, but there are some now for the Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, Wii and I believe they've even gotten the Wii U games working via emulation. Which made me wonder. How do emulators for the 360 and PS3 work? Considering that a lot of the games on those consoles worked online, and you can get trophies and collectibles. How would emulation work with that aspect of it? Would you have to emulate the console like the Xbox One and Series X/s does with past Xbox consoles? If I'm confusing you, apologies. I'm mainly referring to emulation of games that had online mechanics, but have features tied into the consoles. So would emulating an Xbox 360 game for example, also require you to emulate the system itself so that you can play games online and all that? Or are we just going to be able to play games offline?
