If you have compat disc, it will go a long way too. Yeah, I do like soundtracks but it doesn't mean that I would choose it over the gameplay. It doesn't tally for me at all. I can easily get the game's soundtrack used in the game off the game and play it.

Music and video game goes today especially those in-game sounds and tracks.
skyfire
These days a lot of games have this lofi type of the music which is a mix of instrumental house music, it's fun listening to them.
Heatman
The relationship between them is very small in my opinion. I wouldn't mind not having the music because it's something that I can easily supplement with outside songs. Family sedan
Boblee
There is a friend of mine who prefers to play his own selected tracks in his songs playlist when playing video games and not listen to the game's soundtrack.

I can actually relate to that as well because I have actually done it a few times with some games that came with horrible soundtrack.
Justin11
If I'm playing my favourite games, I don't like listening to external sound tracks, I simply maintain the in-game soundtracks and the noise of the radar, that's one of the beauty of the games I do enjoy. I think that most gamers are more into the game's soundtrack than other source of music. While the little few don't care about any of them. I love it when the sound is beeping out via a home theater DVD player.
Head_Hunter
Music is life, same as video games for me. I wouldn't argue I listen more of the music than playing video games this days. But both of them go together to make the fun complete.
Heatman
As long as I have my satisfaction in both ways of playing the game with music and without music, I'm definitely not going to worry about it.
Boblee
The truth of the matter is that some music can't be ignored no matter what but then again, there are some that really sucks big time. Heatman
killamch89
I'd say I love gaming more - However, I do play music while gaming so both are enjoyable activities to me and doing them together brings me pure joy.
