What are some things that are more fun in video games than IRL (besides the obvious)?

What is something you enjoy in video games more than IRL, other than the obvious thing of brutal combat?

Like, gardening is satisfying to me in Skyrim, and makes me think I could get into it IRL, and then I think about trying, and I’m just like “nope, too much work/too intimidating.”

• Going in a straight line to your destination disregarding the beaten path cutting through mountains, private property and everything without much difficulty.
• Mastering new skills takes years IRL, in a game it takes one second
• Not worrying about basic life necessities like sleeping eating
• Healing wounds is instantenaous

I've always craved riding with vehicles and earning money from it, die to my love for driving. But since such dream is far from being decisive. Playing motorcycle GP tournaments have given me the feeling of a pro, even if it's in gaming.

Virtual reality is one of the common things I love on video games than IRL. In real life i am not living my dream of a professional soccer player, but in gaming I am experiencing fantasy professional footballer in FIFA game series.
