For me, I met most of my friends in real life, during school, college, and just living near each other. I have a few online friends as well, but I haven't met any of them in person yet. There was one guy my brother and I gamed with on Xbox live years ago, and we had invited him to my brothers grad party, but he didn't show up. I currently work for an online community and do voice chat meetings daily, I'm fast becoming friends with them, but I don't know if I'm comfortable enough to actually meet them in person.
