Kane99
Has there ever been a video game that released literal viruses into gamers PCs? I swear I heard there was a couple PC games that accidentally tossed in viruses in their releases. Do you think any games caused real damage to people's PCs in the past because of it? I'm curious, because PC gaming back in the day was all over the place. I imagine a lot of bootleg games came out, plus indie games on top of it. Justin11
I encountered playing an infected game on my smart phone earlier on, that's why I stopped downloading much of the games. I simply play 1-2 games, then set my phone on a periodic weekly clean up, in order to keep it free from getting infected.
Head_Hunter
I think if one loses too many games into his or her backlog from different open platforms or devices, it can cause viruses penetrating into the system of the console and infecting other games which makes them to corrupt.
