The classic racer on the PS1, came out on December 23rd, 1997 and the rest is pretty much history. I remember playing this game on a demo disc for a while. My parents, who aren't even gamers, played that same demo quite a bit. It's so weird that it was 24 years ago that I played that demo, or saw my mom and dad playing the same game with their friends. I'm 32 years old now, and it's weird seeing all of these games and movies I enjoyed being around for 20+ years. 1997 though, what a good year. I would how racing games will behave and look in another 10-20 years. Definitely looking forward to seeing how good the new GT will be on the PS5.
