Kane99
It was by the hangar 13 team, who worked on mafia III. I heard they were rumors of a bully 2 game. But, supposedly it was supposed to be a game similar to destiny and Take Two just didn't see it being a viable game to make in the market, or profitable I should say. They spent $53 million plus before canceling it. At that point I probably would have let them work on it. skyfire
Is this because they wanted more money for the court case they were going through so sounds like loss from both.
m76
Hangar 13, nothing good came out of that studio.
Empire
Obviously a huge amount, but considering how much they make off of GTA5 microtransactions it doesn't really hurt them as bad as it would other publishers.

Yeah true, but 53 mill is still a lot to lose in that way. I can't imagine they were happy about wasting that money. But they will survive. skyfire
I think most of the time in game transactions make the sale of the brand worth it, all the invested money is properly adjusted in that context.
Yaramaki
What are the changes hangar 13 is getting closed after this? Would be a shame since i'd love for them to make a new mafia game.

They will work something out with the game.
Heatman
$53 million dollars is a very huge amount of money they can't just waste like that. It's going to peg serious questions on their business dealings.

Head_Hunter
That's one of the black Fridays for them, definitely their is open opportunities for them to recoup the funds they've lost as a result of such saga, which was cancelled.
Boblee
Although, if there was a good reason for the cancelation of the game, they would feel too bad about it because it's something they are likely to fix in the future.
