StaceyPowers
Sometimes developers cut corners with dungeon design. In the worst cases, they may reuse the same few dungeons again and again with small modifications and/or different items and enemies (looking at you, Dragon Age 2). When you run into this sort of laziness, does it annoy you a little or a lot?
Boblee
If I can still manage to get a way to play the game, I wouldn't bother that too much. But when it's as hard as fuck, it's definitely going to be a pain in the ass.
Heatman
I can't help it but appreciate the information here on how to design dungeons.

Do they think that we can't see through it or what? StaceyPowers

Some gamers will always surprise you with their decision sometimes because they are still the same people that complains but still patronize such games too. Kane99
There are a lot of games that come out with lazy design. I'm sure some of them are games with poor dungeons. I played a top down game years ago that had dungeons and they all looked the same, just had a maze like thing going. But each room looked the same. Heatman
Seriously, I can't seem to find it funny when they make such same design in games and to what effect? There is no fun in repeating what you have completed over and over again.
Boblee
To be very honest with you on this trash thing developers do in repeating dungeons, I rather play another games than waste my time on it.
Scorpion
It really annoys me a lot! Repetitive dungeon design feels lazy and breaks immersion, making exploration far less engaging and enjoyable.
killamch89
I’d say it annoys me a lot when the repetitive design feels uninspired, like in Dragon Age 2, where the same layouts were reused over and over. It takes away from the immersion and makes exploration feel like a chore rather than an adventure. I understand budget or time constraints can push developers to make these decisions, but when it becomes noticeable, it really hurts the experience.
