Another bad one was Popeye, which I also liked as a kid and also now. I fail to see what was bad about Popeye. I thought the soundtrack was O.K. and Robin Williams was born to play Popeye. Empire Posted February 18, 2022 Share Posted February 18, 2022 Les Miserables! Saw it the day it came out. Christmas. I think the hype of it had me excited about it. Once I bought the DVD and actually sat down at home & watched it, I hated it. The singing was awful. Cast was completely off. I ended up selling the DVD on eBay.
