Heatman
Personally, I don't really think that it's something that I would get into successfully because I believe that my skills and experience can't compete at a professional level.
Scorpion
The industry is competitive, with big players like Activision and Ubisoft. Breaking in requires networking and skills. Challenges include funding and exposure.
killamch89
The pro gaming scene has really grown over the past few years. It’s a huge industry now with massive Esports tournaments like those for League of Legends, Dota 2, and CS:GO. Big players include Riot Games, Blizzard, and Valve, which all have large Esports ecosystems. To break in, it's about finding your niche - whether that's a specific game or role within the scene (player, coach, analyst, caster, etc.). You need dedication, consistency, and networking, as well as good content creation or performance skills. The biggest challenges are the level of competition and the physical/mental toll that pro gaming can have on players, especially as they get older.
