What is the most dramatic thing you have done to protect your console?

What is the most dramatic thing you have done to protect your console? This question applies mostly to people with kids and pets. I dove between my cat and my PS5 and let her vomit on me to spare my console.

Nothing comes to my mind recently but when I was kid my mom tried to take my gameboy away from me so I hid it in my dad's car and shortly after he took off to work and took my gameboy with him so at the end I was left out without my gameboy

I can't think of anything but having it on my table where it's safe to the best of my knowledge. My pets aren't that stupid to push it down.

That's quite a sacrifice! I once barricaded my console with cushions to keep my toddler from accidentally knocking it over.
