Have gaming made you read real life subjects and give you more insight to subjects you never understood well?

Gaming can center on different subjects that we all experience and get in contact in real life with more details that we have access to because we play the game.

But there are some games that when you get into them, you would feel like you need to know more about and go outside the game to a particular text or research in order to have more knowledge on the game.

I had a similar experience with playing World War 2 Flight Sim which led me to read up more on B-17 Fortress on World War 2 Bombers and so much more.

What other games made you go further on such path?

Absolutely! Gaming has sparked my interest in history, science, and strategy, making complex subjects more engaging and easier to understand.

Absolutely. I’ve had similar experiences. For example, playing Civilization taught me about historical leaders, technological advancements, and world wonders I’d never known about. It made me dive into history books and documentaries to learn more about ancient civilizations like the Sumerians or the wonders of the medieval world. Games can be a powerful gateway to learning.
