DC
Most of you probably have checked out our post about MetaRace, the decentralized app (dapp) you can use to race NFT horses in the metaverse. As we mentioned in that post, one of the goals of the MetaRace community was to purchase a real, flesh-and-blood race horse. Well, it happened! The MetaRace community now collectively own a two-year-old colt in the real world named MetaRace. This horse will be running at Windsor tomorrow, June 13th, 2022. This is a first not only for the MetaRace community, but for the horse as well, who has never started on a racetrack before. If you join MetaRace and meet certain requirements, you to can own a percentage stake in this horse. Good luck tomorrow, MetaRace! Heatman
Even though with all the risk that's been associated with NFTs, I saw this as a good project to hook up and it seems like it's going to pay off. Congratulations to MetaRace. DC
usernamed
Agreed, something tangible is always good...am heading down to Windsor to watch the beast! Might need its first run, mind, they usually do and learn alot from the experience.

Well, at least it didn't finish last and that's not bad for a first race either. Heatman

Well considering that every horse was a two year old novice and Metarace was the third favourite at 6/1, it's not a great result if we're being honest. usernamed
Very much his first day at school...there was a big crowd at the track (Windsor on a Monday evening is something of a tradition in the UK, especially the day before Royal Ascot, which starts tomorrow) which, of course, he has not experienced before...he ran really well early on & then in the last furlong ran out of steam but that is pretty normal for a first run. IMO he will come on for that but he is only 2 (years-old) so there's a lot of scope. He will come on tons for the experience, clearly has speed and so race 3/4 (IMO) will see him as a more mature runner.
Justin11
We'll get to judge Meta-Race after series of races and never turn out being victorious, maybe after three attempts. It's too early to judge the two year old horse, I just wish the Meta-Race community long time success, I'm already a member at their discord server. You took the world right out of my mouth - at least it didn't finish last. It's definitely going to get better.

It's not a good result for the horse since they are all 2 year old novice in the race. Maybe something went wrong or was off with the horse for it to be 3rd favourite and still end up with such poor result.
