What (real) cities would be coolest settings for open world games?

AC Origins is in Egypt and lots of history.

I haven't played Origins but I have played both Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Both of them never featured any African setting. I will see if I can go back to the older release of Origins whenever it's convenient for me to do so.

I'd like to expand on what I said earlier. I live in the Upper peninsula of Michigan. And I always thought it would be cool to see a game featured here.

A game in my area, with the accents and culture would be fun to me.

I will like to see a game made with a Kenya location, as this country possesses a lot of good sites and vegetations and a game like Red dead redemption would fit perfectly in it as RDR displays lots of vegetations and country side experience.

I would like to see ancient cities, like Babylon or Carthage

Babel Rising is one arcade 2D version game that was set in Babylon. It would be nice to something like it made for next generation consoles or at PS4.

I honestly can't think of any that haven't been already used such as New York City, Paris, Miami, LA among others that have been/ served as the influence for cities in open-world games.

As an update to this, I mean maybe Abu Dhabi because it has such rich history but is very modernized.
