Bond, James Bond

I generally enjoy the movie series but No Time to Die was long winded and dull. The action could have been a lot more exciting and the movie 20-30 minutes shorter.

It's between Skyfall and Casino Royale that's my favourite when it comes to James Bond movies. Daniel Craig will always be my favourite 007 character and it's a shame that he's time is over in the movie after No Time To Die.

Goldfinger, License to Kill and Goldeneye are also my favorites besides Casino Royale and Skyfall.

Casino Royale (2006) is currently sitting as my #1 film of all time on Letterboxd. It just has such a great balance of action, drama, romance, and even comedy. I also love how it literally gave us a shallow character the best character development since On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Casino Royale really changed the franchise in a big way, and Martin Campbell saved the franchise twice - the first time being Goldeneye.

By the way, they did a James Bond vs. John Wick Death Battle recently:

Unsurprised who won in this one tbh. Okay, I was a little surprised, but still, it made sense. lol

This is exactly how I felt about Casino Royale. I couldn't see any downside in the movie no matter how hard I looked..

John Wick will beat James Bond any day and time. Bond is only good with guns but Wick is perfect all round.

I have been a fan of James bond movies and up till the most recent release James bond 007.

Though the actors who played the role of James bond has changed over the years they have still managed to retain most of the charisma we know of the first James bond.

I don't usually take Death Battle seriously because there's always some bias involved and not objectively comparing characters on feats.

I always remember as a kid, the Bond movies would air quite often on the TV. It would usually be a Sunday afternoon and there would always be a Bond movie on the TV during the afternoon and I would watch it because my dad was watching it.

Yeah, same - they used to air every fortnight on TV for us on Sundays. My dad was a huge Bond fan so I used to watch it with him as well.
