Kane99
https://www.gamesindustry.biz/tinybuild-acquires-bossa-studios-ips-for-3m This is interesting. I had no idea TinyBuild was doing that good, but I guess they're doing great. They spent $3 million on Bossa Studios, but they also paid another $5.4 million for Russian studio Konfa Games. Had no idea they would make these moves. But I'm interested to see what this brings. Also, Bossa Studios did games like Surgeon Simulator, I am Fish and I am Bread. And going forward, TinyBuild will be the development team working on these IPs. Justin11 and Gonassis 1

Gonassis
Wow! That's just amazing... Tinybuild has come a long way, I still remember playing their flash game, "No time to explain" many years back. 😁 Man, I feel old. 😆 That's the guy in their logo, from their first game. Now I'm reading the wikipedia article lols because of nostalgia, and I want to see an overview of what they've been doing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TinyBuild killamch89 and Withywarlock

Ajibusu
Surgeon simulator was a nice game with good graphics. I didn't know how good Bossa studios were before I played the game. So, Tinybuild saw potentials in them, hence the acquisition. Let's look forward to games they will make going forward. Gonassis
Kane99
It's weird, because I didn't know they were this huge, to be able to afford these studios. But they must see something in the developers they're bringing over. Maybe we're going to see some really great games from this. We can only hope. 🙂 Gonassis
Empire
I remember when they released No time to explain in 2011 and during that time they had Publisher problems with Buka who witheld funds they needed and bailed on them. Now they are big enough to acquire other games, good for them. Gonassis

Yeah, it was exactly that. Though I still remember playing the flash version years ago. RIP flash, you helped give birth to many creative works. 😁 On 8/31/2022 at 6:26 PM, Empire said: I remember when they released No time to explain in 2011 and during that time they had Publisher problems with Buka who witheld funds they needed and bailed on them. Yeah, it's great to see how far they've come from that, also with them as a publisher helping many smaller devs like they once were helps foster more creativity and talent in the industry. 😁 lol, I went looking for where the original flash version could be played, and I found it. quite a bit of nostalgia for my flash games playing days. 😋 here's the remastered version BTW: https://store.steampowered.com/app/368730/No_Time_To_Explain_Remastered/ here's the flash game, it runs on a flash emulator now. good 15 minutes of playing and I found the easter egg again, which to be honest, isn't hidden much. 😝 also looking back, they never changed their logo/mascot, as being honest to their origins. https://www.gamenora.com/game/no-time-to-explain/ About tinyBuild We're an indie game development and publishing company. No Time To Explain is our first game. It came out of a successful Kickstarter and Greenlight adventure. Since No Time To Explain, we started helping other developers with their games. After getting enough muscle behind our internal studio, we came back to No Time To Explain, and completely remade the game in a proper engine. No Time To Explain Remastered is free for everyone who owns the original! Edited September 5, 2022 by Gonassis
Heatman
Every company now is making strong and serious moves in the gaming industry by buying what's buyable for them ever since Microsoft did a big one with Activision Blizzard. I was thinking Sony would have have up this one but they didn't.
Justin11
I this a lot gaming studios and Game developers are looking to expand and make their name a house hold name in the gaming industry. This isn't a bad move and I am certainly looking forward to see what they make out of this in the nearest future.
