I would go as far as saying Halloween 1, 2, and 4 are all tied, and Rocky 1, 2, 3, AND 4 are all equally good. What's your take on this? Which movies do you think had great sequels? I'll also add on a few entries to the list: Spider-Man 2 Toy Story 2 Captain America: The Winter Soldier The Dark Knight The Avengers: Infinity War (technically a triquel that doesn't suck) The Empire Strikes Back and The Two Towers don't really count in Randy's book in Scream 2 because he said they were part of a "planned trilogy," meaning filmed back-to-back instead of being separate productions/movies Logan (more like a requel, but still kinda counts) X-Men 2 for original X-trilogy or Days of Future Past for reboot trilogy Evil Dead II Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Blackangel Posted October 11, 2022 Share Posted October 11, 2022 As far as slasher flicks go, Nightmare On Elm Street is number one for me. Batman and Batman Returns are also on the list. As for when I was a kid, TMNT (the originals) was also great. As for kids now, Shrek was really good. Also, anything involving Minions is great.
