DC
When you were a kid (or maybe even now), which did/do you prefer to color with? Crayons? Markers? Colored Pencils?
The Blackangel
I tended to prefer markers because they didn’t leave white spots the way crayons and colored pencils do. Ink covers more than wax and colored graphite.
Kyng
I preferred wax crayons at first - although I later switched to pencils, as I could colour more precisely with them.
Moonface
Coloured pencils has generally been my go-to, since they're easier to blend compared to things like crayons. I'd probably never want to colour with markers because of the risk that if I make a mistake it'll be very hard to fix it, plus I really hate how it can cause that streaky look when you overlap areas with the same colour pen. killamch89
For me it was mainly colored pencils and that's because they weren't quite as messy as crayons or markers when doing art and coloring stuff.
The Blackangel
I remember when I was a kid, I would always take the ink container part out of a marker and put it in things like my glue. The glue would then absorb the ink and be colored. Edited December 10, 2022 by The Blackangel
Grungie
I liked colored pencils. It was like a better crayon. I didn’t like how markers bleed through

I didn’t like how markers bleed through I agree - Colored pencils allowed for a good amount of precision. Even though I primarily do digital art now, as a teen, drawing was a way of expressing my frustrations in a more productive manner.
Shortie
I used to love colouring in as a kid and would often get a colouring book that I could sit for hours completing. I always loved to use pencil crayons for colouring as they wouldn't soak through the page like felt tips would and I loved how they looked when a picture was fully coloured. svjiminfxv
I love colouring when I'm bored and have nothing else to do. I prefer to colour with colouring pencils as when a marker is used, it just goes through the paper onto the next page.
