DC
Are there any video games that you have played that left you with so many questions at the end that months or years later, you are still struggling to fully understand what went down? Empire
Final Fantasy X-2 was really bad in this way. There was a bad ending, a good ending, and a "perfect" ending. The perfect ending's requirements weren't just beat the whole game and the side quests, it was like "save at this specific save sphere then go to this world and do this" level detail. I had printed out the requirements and started going through them but quickly found it's just not a fun way to play the game and never played it again. Scorpion
Certainly! "Dark Souls" left me pondering its lore and themes for years, sparking countless discussions about its ambiguous story and characters.
killamch89
Definitely Disco Elysium. I think I understood parts of it, but the sheer amount of detail and ambiguity in the endings left me wondering. The way it ties to your inner thoughts is genius, but I’m convinced there’s so much more hidden in there that I missed.
