The Blackangel
After replying to this thread @Kane99 made, it got me thinking. Remembering when I was a part of that crew was always fun. I would like to get back into it, but I don't know what engine would be the best. I have seen that GoDot is a free engine, but don't know if it's worth trying out. Others here will know a hell of a lot more about this than I will. So I'm just wondering, what would be the best one. Or should I just stick with Mario Maker 2? Dismal_Bliss
I downloaded Unreal Engine and was going to learn it, but it was intimidating - plus I don't really have the time to dedicated to it. When my regular business is slow I get bored and come up with creative ideas that don't always pan out, lol.
Heatman
I would have easily gone with Unreal Engine because of how good most of the games it have been made it came out but my preference is shifting more to Unity. This is because of the level of access indie video games developers have with it in making some of their games. Dismal_Bliss
Scorpion
GoDot is worth trying, especially since it’s free. It depends on your project goals though! Mario Maker 2’s simpler.
